The Monoprice wire had a smoother and more detail sound

The wire is exactly what I ordered, produces great quality sound, and has a very clear polarity indicator on one of the wires (very important over long runs).

this is the speaker wire we use in both our main system, bedroom system and numerous lengths of test wires with different terminations on the ends - sounds good to these ears - on a budget for gear always - doubt my old ears would have use for much more even if they do "make a difference" as you go further up in price range.

I get great sound of my speakers (BP-8040ST, SR-8040BP, and CS-8040HD) without any distortion or popping/cracking

I got a 300 ft roll a year ago, hooked 9 speakers plus one of the dubs, actually the left and right speakers was times 2 since I switch 2 pairs, one for music one for movies, it took almost the whole roll, sound is AWESOME, did not need any for the sub I use for home theater, since I use a wireless system for that one, point is, it does not matter if it's not 100% pure copper, if I need more this is what I would buy...
