Monoprice Hi-Fi Active Noise Cancelling Headphone w/ Active Noise Reduction Technology (10010)

    • Padding on the headband is a bit too firm and has a small surface area, which can be uncomfortable, but the headphones clamp well, which takes a lot of weight off the band, so they're okay comfort-wise
    • Only issue is that they are a bit uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.
    • After swapping them around, the microphone performance improved a bit, but it’s still not great and picks up other noise in the room.
    • I did feel the sound quality lost a bit at (very) higher levels .... better for my ears in the long run
    • Also they are a bit uncomfortable after a few hours
    • While I try to take care of them, I have abused them a bit - typically accidentally ripping the plug out
    • It leaks music just a little bit but not too much
    • but I think the highs are a bit louder than it really is and my mixes are becoming a bit on the low
    • They have good sound quality and a pretty comfortable...however after a long period of wearing (aka 8 straight hours of coding or papering) they start to hurt a bit
    • These Monoprice phones feel cheap, have mediocre sound isolation, are a bit uncomfortable in terms of over-the-head band and cup head pressure exerted, have only average, more tinny tonal qualities, lack a coiled cord (and it is only about 4' long), low efficiency (turn it up for better sound, if you don't mind the hit your ears will take!), and the circumaural pads are pure vinyl causing heat and sweat build up
    • My only issue is that I can't use it for extended periods, since it suffocates my ears a bit
    • My only complaint is that my head aches a bit after using them for a while - they seem a bit heavy.
    • I did manage to break them after lot's of abuse, but a little bit of
    • For those of us in the know, we're aware that Bluetooth audio will suffer a bit from compression
    • The top highs seem to have been boosted a little bit as well, so you could argue that it's somewhat of a band-reject filter
    • However it makes them a bit uncomfortable with large ears and behind the ear hearing aids (which I have both)
    • True, the Beats seem to have a bit more range and some extra bass boost here at my desk, but in the air, where no headphones can overcome the jet engine noise, I'm likely not to care.
    • Pros: LightweightEar cups rotateSturdy buildLow price pointCons: 3.5mm cable is very short & comes out easilyA bit of backstory: I’ve been on a quest for a light enough headset to use on a daily basis
    • Also, they can get a bit uncomfortable after a while.
    • The coiled cord is long enough, but it still gets in the way a bit since it hugs the side of the computer
    • That reduced the bass a bit and improved the sound stage a bit
    • Says they could use a bit better padding, but they suit her needs well.
    • We can still hear the phone ring or someone speaking directly to us (if they speak a bit louder than normal)
    • A bit cheap looking but work fine.
    • pieces was beginning to crack quite a bit.
    • As is typical with noise cancelling products, they flounder a bit at muting voices/conversation, but I find this problem to be a minimal inconvenience
    • My only complaint is the lows seem a bit muddied, but only a bit
    • Seems various frequencies can become muddled a bit, especially with higher amplificationVery short and un-attachable cordNeed to purchase female extension audio cable if you want to use at with computer or hi-fi system
    • The audio for the most part here is good: highs are crisp enough, mid tones are decent, but where I've noticed Bluetooth to always lack a bit, are the low frequencies
    • They bulge out a good bit if you have a large head but the sound quality is great for the cost.
    • i use sennheiser 280 pro's all day at work (casual listening - podcasts & spotify - not heavy duty audio recording\mixing) and these are every bit as good
    • With noise canceling on the bass and treble are slightly exaggerated, a bit too much for quiet environments but the boost is just right when there's noise.
    • Anything with a decent bit of bass lol J. Cole sounded really good
    • That being said, I did purchase a replacement ear cushion set because of reports that the stock cushions could get a bit uncomfortable
    • All of that would have been forgiven given the price if 2 or 3 months after buying these the plastic near the adjustable bit didn't break leaving one of the cans swinging
    • However, as others have mentioned before, the headphones do hurt quite a bit after a while of wearing it
    • A bit cheap looking but work fine.
    • No real complaints aside from my ears are a bit big and the padding isn't enough to keep the phones from crunching my ears after a few hours
    • these seem to be square on the top, which makes it a bit ugly looking on your head, but i would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a pair of inexpensive and great sounding headphones.
    • They were cheap, the sound quality is great, and my only qualm with them is they get a bit uncomfortable after a while.
    • A bit uncomfortable on a 5 hour flight.
    • I was a bit skeptical when I paid $110 for a pair of headphones, but I cannot stop listening to these headphones
    • I also have fairly big ears as well, so my lobes get pressed down by the cushion, but after a fair bit of use, my ears are going along with them well
    • be warned they do get a bit uncomfortable and the pads get hot quick.they have a nice seal
    • At first, there was almost no difference in the sound quality, both headphones pick up the low ends very well; the monoprice headphones actually seem to pick up the higher frequencies a bit louder to me, same for the mids
    • They were a bit uncomfortable until I broke them in, and now that they're too broken
    • Some folks don't find them as comfortable as I, but I'm sure the same can be said for any style or type of phone.
