Perhaps the best thing about these headphones is that the cord is detachable, making the cord easy to change if it stops working, because you can use any auxiliary cord with a 3.5mm size end.

Yes, the replaceable cord seems like a good idea but my pair and my friend's pair (who also bought these) both started rattling on one side at medium low volumes and only got worse as you turned them up

i found these headphones to be very comfortable - light weight - adjustable - nice long cord

These Monoprice phones feel cheap, have mediocre sound isolation, are a bit uncomfortable in terms of over-the-head band and cup head pressure exerted, have only average, more tinny tonal qualities, lack a coiled cord (and it is only about 4' long), low efficiency (turn it up for better sound, if you don't mind the hit your ears will take!), and the circumaural pads are pure vinyl causing heat and sweat build up

Not only does it allow for a change in the cord length/style, but it has acted as a safety release for when I've accidentally snagged the cord on something

I bought this because I like the idea of user replaceable cord or cable.

Phone are built pretty decent and has a detachable cord so would last a life time because all you would have to do is replace the cord and don't sit on them

The 8323 are more sturdy and the cord and ear pads are replaceable

If the cord or the jack gets damaged at least you don't have to break out a soldering iron and change the jack, you can just buy a new cord or just experiment with different ones to improve the sound

By the way, the smaller/thinner cord that came with the Monoprice headphones seems to,as of this morning, not be working

Pros:Has great sound, great price, cords and adapters all included, detachable cord

Pros- comfortable (I can wear them for 2 hours and not get annoyed)- cord has a jack that removes from the headphones so you don't accidentally rip it out and have to buy a new pair- sound is great for price point- fold up design is nice for packing them away- padding on headband

Cups feel a little small so might ache after long hours, but they feel pretty sturdy, are impressively flexible, smartly include a detachable cord [plus they come with a short and looooong cord], and best of all they sound loud, full and beefy

Uncomfortably tight and unlikely to "break in" due to plastic construction, I also noticed that the stiff, replaceable, cord picks up and transmits noises when moved or knocked
