    • These headphones have great sound, they are very comfortable, and the removable/ replaceable cord is pure genius
    • These headphones have great sound, they are very comfortable, and the removable/ replaceable cord is pure genius
    • Perhaps the best thing about these headphones is that the cord is detachable, making the cord easy to change if it stops working, because you can use any auxiliary cord with a 3.5mm size end.
    • Very nice feel, flexible fit, really nice cord length, sounds excellent.
    • But the cord recently shorted all the way out on them as well
    • Lightweight, minimalist design; single cord minimizes tangles
    • The cord for these is detachable and comes with two
    • Yes, the replaceable cord seems like a good idea but my pair and my friend's pair (who also bought these) both started rattling on one side at medium low volumes and only got worse as you turned them up
    • The larger cord works OK but the microphone/interrupt switch does not work
    • I like the detachable cord
    • Love the long cord.
    • I was trying to replace my Sennheiser HD202 headphones that broke (hated the dual cords, too)
    • Only problem is that the cord is quite short, and awkward to use on a desktop computer.
    • I like that cord is detachable
    • Cord noise: None.
    • Nice corded headset.
    • The Modern Retro headphones are very comfortable, with a nice long cord
    • cord is kinda flimsy
    • If only the cord were detachable, though - I'm afraid I'll break the cord before anything else with how often I use these headphones

    • I really love that the cord is detachable, and wish that was a more common feature
    • The one issue I have is the cord.

    • Audio cord is removable/replaceable, will pick up a spare for a few dollars, but would have preferred good product delivered.
    • Neutral, slight bass heavy sound, built well, don't hurt my head like some have said, and the detachable cord is AWESOME!
    • the detachable cord is also a nice addition.
    • These headphones have detachable cords (2 different lengths)
    • The cord is cheap, though, which is my only real complaint.
    • Great for you price but the only problem is that the thicker cord came broken
    • you won't hurt them, the cord will just pop out
    • Great headphones, but a more sturdy cord-to-headphone arrangement would be appreciated.
    • A replaceable cord is hard to find on headphones, and is much appreciated, however the connection could be a little tighter (the replacement Amazon heavy duty cable pulls itself out at times).
    • For $30 with good sound and a detachable cord, these are a bargainThe reviews that mention how the plastic construction tends to transfer any little vibration/sound on the cord are accurate
    • i found these headphones to be very comfortable - light weight - adjustable - nice long cord
    • These Monoprice phones feel cheap, have mediocre sound isolation, are a bit uncomfortable in terms of over-the-head band and cup head pressure exerted, have only average, more tinny tonal qualities, lack a coiled cord (and it is only about 4' long), low efficiency (turn it up for better sound, if you don't mind the hit your ears will take!), and the circumaural pads are pure vinyl causing heat and sweat build up
    • Nice lonnnnng cord!
    • Instead of ripping a cord out of a permanent attachment point, it just pulls it out of the 3.5 mm port
    • Having a replaceable cord is nice as well, since the cord is usually the first thing to break on headphones.
    • The cord stopped working for me eventually (6 months or so) and I bought a new one but that headphones themselves are great
    • Good sound quality, comfortable, extra long connecting cord.
    • The padding on the cup is perfect, the headphone isn't too tight, and I love that it has a detachable cord
    • One of the main reasons I bought these Monoprice 'phones is because of the detachable cord, which I still think is a great feature.
    • A replaceable cord is hard to find on headphones, and is much appreciated, however the connection could be a little tighter (the replacement Amazon heavy duty cable pulls itself out at times).
    • the 11ft cord works well for mobility
    • The detachable cord is awesome too
    • The cord, like the cord on Monoprice's iDevice-like earbuds, has an unpleasant texture
    • because WHEN the cord becomes noisy--which they all do with enough use--you can just replace the cord!My
    • If only the cord were detachable, though - I'm afraid I'll break the cord before anything else with how often I use these headphones
    • When I first tried it, the sound kept cutting out but the other cord seems to work fine.
    • A replaceable cord isn't going to fix a defect inside the cup, which I took apart to see what could be causing the rattle but never figured it out
    • Short cord could be a bit sturdier
    • Blocks out office chatter while I'm rocking out to Styx (the greatest American rock band ever).Lightweight, adjustable, good balanced sound, comfortable ear cups, detachable cord, PLUS includes a 1/4 adapter for the front of your receiver
    • Not only does it allow for a change in the cord length/style, but it has acted as a safety release for when I've accidentally snagged the cord on something
    • I bought this because I like the idea of user replaceable cord or cable.
    • Phone are built pretty decent and has a detachable cord so would last a life time because all you would have to do is replace the cord and don't sit on them
    • The 8323 are more sturdy and the cord and ear pads are replaceable
    • If the cord or the jack gets damaged at least you don't have to break out a soldering iron and change the jack, you can just buy a new cord or just experiment with different ones to improve the sound
    • By the way, the smaller/thinner cord that came with the Monoprice headphones seems to,as of this morning, not be working
    • Great Headhphones, love the 10ft cord and the adapter for my home stereo
    • The separate audio cord is a nice feature as well
    • I feel like one of the Cybermen wearing them—but they sound good for the price, and I like the swappable cord.
    • Pros:Has great sound, great price, cords and adapters all included, detachable cord
    • Pros- comfortable (I can wear them for 2 hours and not get annoyed)- cord has a jack that removes from the headphones so you don't accidentally rip it out and have to buy a new pair- sound is great for price point- fold up design is nice for packing them away- padding on headband
    • Love the detachable cord, it comes with two lengths (long, short) which is great when I just want to sit or when I want to walk around my deck or stand for a bit
    • The one downside is the cord
    • So in case the cord is ever damaged, it can be replaced instead of the entire unit
    • I like that I can use a short cord.
    • The detachable audio cord is not as heavy as I would like (but two are provided, and any standard cord that fits into the receptacle for the jack will work)
    • I'm a bit of a klutz, plus it's winter time and the cord gets all tangled with scarves and hats and even my bag from time to time

    • Cups feel a little small so might ache after long hours, but they feel pretty sturdy, are impressively flexible, smartly include a detachable cord [plus they come with a short and looooong cord], and best of all they sound loud, full and beefy
    • I bought some more comfortable red pads and a red cord which makes the phones a little more fashionable.
    • Physically, I wish the cord was replaceable because it is super long, but it is physically attached
    • It comes with a very long, sturdy cord and a short more portable cord
    • I have to say that the detachable cord/cable is probably the best feature.
    • It comes with a nice longer removal cord and included AAA battery
    • The two cords is awesome
    • Fancy cord for look if you want
    • They're good quality, and the detachable cord is handy, because it's usually the aux cord that breaks, rather than the headphones themselves.
    • I love the detachable cord.
    • I like the two cord options and the easiness the ear pads rotate.
    • As the headphone jack is on the side of my mouse hand, a longer cord is easier to snag in quick movement, but again, the cable has popped out during some pivotal & certainly emotional moments
    • But with these the cord just pops out instead of breaking the whole thing!I also love that it comes with two cord lengths
    • Build quality is solid and detachable cord is a big plus.
    • You simply can't go wrong on these headphones and the detachable cord is an additional bonus!!
    • tI researched and read reviews on a lot of heaphones listed here that had a detachable cord.

    • The detachable cord is a huge convenience.
