Monoprice Hi-Fi Active Noise Cancelling Headphone w/ Active Noise Reduction Technology (10010)

    • Tight on head, not loud, feel cheap, one of the two that arrived was clearly reconditioned and not new, was missing the plastic that the other one had and there were fingerprints all over.
    • They are comfortable and don't bother my head or ears when sleeping.
    • (Also note I've never tried the 'light weight' version.)I don't know if I have the perfect head shape for these or if they changed the design of the pad, but these have been extremely comfortable for me for the past 20 months
    • I can't wear this for more than 1 hour -- it starts to hurt my head and jaws.
    • The first few wears the cushions hurt my head
    • I can't imagine how anyone's head could naturally find comfort with these
    • They are comfortable once you get them on, however, and do not squeeze my head like others I have had.
    • Good sound for the price, doesn't clamp my large head like most other over-ear headphones do
    • they are very tight over your ears and it feels like your head is going to explode sometimes, and I do not have a big head
    • After 10 minutes, you’re head will hurt so much, you’ll start looking for clean socks or padding for extra support
    • So sick and tired of cheap...or even expensive...head phones that short out with their substandard wiring
    • I read all the review's and figured I would give them a try, the fit is very comfortable for my smallish head, lol
    • As a software developer I need to be able to focus and that requires headphones that I can keep on my head for a long period of time so not lose my train of thought
    • Best head set, just because the plugs are detachable, and have options of length of plugs, and because of the great sound these are the best head set for the money, and I would not pay
    • they are very tight over your ears and it feels like your head is going to explode sometimes, and I do not have a big head
    • but I have a fairly large head and have not been bothered at all.
    • If the headphones aren’t completely ready, don’t sell it on the market as some cheap headphones some poor soul is going to break his head for
    • My grandkids and friends bring in their "Beats/Dr Dre's" and when they tell me what they pay for those, I just shake my head.
    • The earpads need to be larger, as well as accommodate larger heads
    • Headphones fit snug on your head and very little ear-fatigue
    • I don't have a huge head, but I do worry about breaking these
    • My only complaint with the fit of the headband is that if you have a larger head (like I do) the furthest reach of the headband only barely manages to fit on my head and it won’t extend further, even so, the fit is still pretty comfortable regardless
    • My head winds up hurting and needs re-adjusting every 20 minutes, or so.
    • However, more than an hour with these on hurts my ears and head, making them feel squashed.
    • Ear buds don't hurt my head and are easier to carry.
    • And at least for me (maybe I have a small head), these don't smash into my ears like the on ear beats did
    • My biggest complaint is the padding at the top of the band isn't very well done, so my head will get sore after long use
    • I would have given this 4 or maybe even 5 stars because of the bargain value for its quality but after using it for more than 1 hour on the first sitting, my head was sore from the extremely poorly padded head loop
    • The pads are very large and provide a lot of support so the clamp doesn't pinch my head too much
    • neg I can say is that after a little while they start hurting my head.
    • I have a hard head
    • Great head gear for 30 dollars
    • No one complained that they hurt your head
    • Once the batteries start to wear out, the little light starts to blink and if you jerk your head in a sneeze or whatever, then the headphones make this crazy LOUD scratchy sound and it scares the poop out of you and hurts your ears
    • However, if I use these for around 30 minutes, the top cushions get uncomfortable and hurt my head.
    • I used to have trouble with the band of headsets bruising my head
    • Neutral, slight bass heavy sound, built well, don't hurt my head like some have said, and the detachable cord is AWESOME!
    • The headphones, because of their construction, can hurt your head but this can be fixed by adding some foam to the top band.
    • the earpadsa face out (unless you're really cranking the tunes, they are pretty quiet even when facing out).At first, these were not the most comfortable for me, but after about a month I can wear them for hours no problem, and I have a huge head, rivaling any man's
    • The sound isolation isn’t bad, but who wants to feel like their head is in between a pair of vice grips all day long
    • Having to cut streaming short because of a headache or sore head caused by a heavy headset is something I’ve found to be unacceptable & had recently switched to earbuds as light headsets with decent sound are few and far between
    • It hurts my head and makes me sweat when I wear them for more than a hour it seems.
    • These headphones sound great and are pretty comfortable, I cant understand why some of the lower rating reviews are from people complaining about the headband really hurting their heads
    • I will admit that the noise cancelling isn't as good as with the top-tier brands, but again, it comes back to price for me
    • Have enjoyed it on a number of long haul flights as well as in the studio.
    • A friend recommended them just in time as I was about to purchase a $300 Big Brand pair
    • You can still hear the outside noises as well as without the ANC
