    Mortal Kombat - Xbox 360

    • Theres a reason why mortal kombat is always ontop of the fighting generes it includes everything easy to learn fighting controls, amazing character design, beautiful story line
    • You will probably want the extra content because Freddy Krueger is an awesome character to play as
    • There is a Practice mode and a Fatality Trainer for you to tinker in to learn your favorite character's moves.
    • the game is pretty great, the modes are fun, and have all the classic characters from the olds mk, the xbox live king of the hill is fun and a great game mode, one thing i dont like is the lag, they have to fix the servers , but overall is a great game, its worth to buy it.
    • Despite the fact that Kratos fits the game design quite well, his appearance is more of a gimmick than a necessity, and with so many other characters available for playtime, it is quite easy to ignore his existence within the game.
    • All the characters are great and although I would have loved to play as Kratos that is really minor
    • This round of Mortal Kombat brings all the classic characters (The good ones) to the current generation consoles.
    • The story of the game does as many fighting games do and forces the player to play as every character available in the game.
    • You can choose to play in Arcade mode in tag-team style, so you pick two characters, your opponent picks two characters, and you can switch between the two throughout the match
    • Hell there's so many characters that died in the story, I don't even know what's cannon and what's not anymore
    • I did get suckered into thinking Ed Boon had a treat for xbox 360 players from his interview with GiantBomb.com (fantastic gaming site by the way) with a new character and/or background, which he hasn't delivered on, but alas, the game is amazing, so good in fact that chances are you won't miss an additional character
    • Still, this game has way better characters and a better story line, most of those games like soul calibur don't make sense because the story and the characters' sayings are translated directly from Japanese, but that Japanese cultural aspect applies to some people
    • It brings back pretty much all the classic characters and levels
    • Possibly one of the most balanced fighting games created, no character is inferior to another
    • Everyone's favorite "old" characters are back, with amazing detail, costumes, moves, it's all here
    • But all in all, I have a little brother whom I play with and we have lots of fun using the many different characters available in this game.
    • It's crystal clear except my one and only complaint is sometimes in the story mode far away characters aren't loud
    • Although he is a great character (my favorite video game character of all time) his appearance was not needed to make Mortal Kombat a great game, NetherRealm Studios succeeded at creating a great return to form for the series, with or without the appearance of Kratos
    • Mortal Kombat makes you play through the perspectives of its most memorable characters
    • All the classic characters and favorites included in the game are well represented
    • Its awesome seeing these characters in 3d like this with such detail
    • Great graphics, better character balances, very graphic fatalities, a good amount of replay value and a great story mode that does the MK mythos justice
    • If you just think the characters look cool and you are disappointed that this game hasn't changed its formula too much from the
    • The PS3 version sees the added benefit of playing as Kratos, lead character from Sony's hit franchise "God of War"
    • Mortal Kombat was always a great game series, every game they came out with was good and had a decent story line, the story lines were always good in my opinion, but anyway, fighting was always good as well as characters, this game is a great renewal of the series with a great story line, incredible graphics, and fun game modes that can always be enjoyed by yourself or with friends
    • On games such as Deadly Alliance and Deception, classic character moves such as Cyrax's net, Sektor's homing missiles, Scorpion's scissor kick, and most notably Shang Tsung's morphing ability
    • There were also a lot of superfluous characters added to the mix, like Bo Rai Cho, whose signature power was throwing up, and Mokap
    • You also get some classic MK character fatalities, and alternate classic character costumes too.
    • A little polish sometimes wouldn't have killed anyone but the characters still look great
    • It's fun to mash the buttons as well as carefully learn the characters' move lists.
    • With Mortal Kombat Armageddon, the developers thought that by returning every character from all previous entries would add enough flare to help revitalize the franchise
    • You can play online with others, play the storyline which is new, and all of the classic characters are in it.
    • All the cool and classic characters are back, great combos, super moves, the X-ray thing is awesome wow
    • Before tough battles, the game spends time making your character feel appropriately intimidated, and it just helps make those matches all the more palm-sweaty
    • So even if your health is zero your character will still perform that animation, recover from it and, abruptly, fall stiff to the ground, instead of just falling when being hit with it in the first place
    • Its missing a couple characters I like, but is a nice improvement over previous titles.
    • Ive been playing the demo on PS3 for about 2 weeks, just enjoying the two levels and 4 characters, since Xbox never got a demo it was my only choice
    • classic characters, classic gameplay, new combos and fatalities
    • This reboot of the MK game takes it back old school, and the roster has pretty much all your favorite characters
    • They kept the game classic and brought in most of the classic themes and characters.
    • It is a story, so naturally you can't "kill" characters that return in it at a later point
    • You are basically required to input your combo as fast as you can with no regard for anything resembling timing (unless you are extending a combo with an air juggle)
