online modes are fun but if your looking for a competitive fighter skip this one.
-
no silly Konquest mode trying to be a half baked RPG
-
This MK game also contains a cool story mode to play through as well
-
Mode"Call me "insane" but I always believed fighting games benefited from having a good story line.
-
My point being I have played nearly every mode they have and no freezing up or glitches or bad graphics
-
the game is pretty great, the modes are fun, and have all the classic characters from the olds mk, the xbox live king of the hill is fun and a great game mode, one thing i dont like is the lag, they have to fix the servers , but overall is a great game, its worth to buy it.

There are several good modes and mini-games to keep you entertained.
-
good and captivating story mode
-
I rather enjoyed the game the first few tries on the classic arcade mode
-
AWESOME- Easy to pick up and play, good training mode, no long list of overcomplicated moves and stances- TONS of content and unlockables- Best single
-
This game brings back the series to it's roots with 2D action and a very enjoyable story mode that covers the original first three games
-
Besides a return of classic moves, this latest entry also sees a return of classic modes such as "Test Your Might"
-
Superb gameplay, great cast of fighters with diverse appearances and personal stories, over a dozen different modes to play, the best story mode adventure ever in a fighting game, online play, training, hidden secrets galore, a challenge tower with 300 different scenarios to conquer, gruesome fatalities, excellent graphics in 3D but fought on 2.5D plane, almost 3 dozen stages to fight on, and so much more
-
Great graphics, better character balances, very graphic fatalities, a good amount of replay value and a great story mode that does the MK mythos justice
-
It does also have a genuine training mode, for those unfamiliar with fighting games in general
-
Love the online mode, and all the new modes it has like the tower
-
There is a mode for everyone, and for most, all the modes will be fun and entertaining for a VERY long time to come
-
There are also tons of things to do, like the Tower challenge and the numerous "Test Your..." challenges, as well as a very well done story mode
-
Good old "fight mode" is back, as well
-
Online mode is great.
-
I find the controls easy to grasp and the special moves easy to perform (even with the problematic D pad of the Xbox 360's controller). The graphics are pretty good overall, but some of the characters' skins and faces - especially Liu Kang's - look a bit weird

This Mortal Kombat game is very fun to play and it brings back the classic 2-D gameplay that the earlier Mortal Kombat's had
