I've made my car look brand new again with this kit, the three stage mothers kit (pre wax cleaner, sealer and glaze, pure carnuba wax), and a coat of mothers reflections top coat.

I didn't put the wax on after like they recommended and it has still been outstanding

After using this and just applying one coat of expensive car wax it gave my black paint job a mirror finish that looked almost pearlescent

I own an older Explorer SUV and wanted to give it my annual late summer/early fall wax job to protect its finish for a few more years.

My opinion would be to run to your local parts store and find a nice wax to try there.

This will get that paint as smooth as the day it was applied!Afterward follow it up with Mothers California Gold Pure Polish, Mothers California Gold Micro Polishing Glaze, & finally Mothers California Gold Pure Carnauba Wax (it's a 3 step kit)

I would recommend this to anyone who's got a stubborn grit in their paint that even a good cleaner wax is having issues removing.

Make sure you have a good wax to cover your car after doing this

Both the California Gold and Turtle Wax Speed Compound work similar

It worked perfectly and i followed it with a good wax.

Applied with an electric buffer and after it hazed, which it did by the time I applied the wax to the entire car, I removed the wax with more microfiber towels (ended up using about a dozen towels).Well worth the time and 20 bucks for the kit and the wax.

Now, this is so much easier than a cleaner wax

Good kit to buy!I recommend claying your car before laying wax down to assure the surface surface is clean and when buffing the wax off you dont scratch the surface causing those ugly swirls

Her car was very rough to the touch, and after using this clay bar, it made it much smoother (almost like it had been waxed).

Applying cleaner/wax made little difference.

This, combined with your favorite wax, is just amazing

Then, a good Mothers wax finished it off and it looks as good as new.

I highly recommend a good wax after to complete the job.

I used it with the Mothers' California Gold Pure Brazilian Carnauba Wax after this product

Seeing what a great product it was, I went back on Amazon and bought the Mothers Step 1 California Gold Pure Polish, Step 2 California Gold Micro-Polish, and Step 3 California Gold Pure Brazilian Carnauba Wax Liquid products as well.

My car painting became perfectly smooth and applying the wax afterwards became very easy and the final gloss was outstanding.

I bought this product to remove contaminants before I applied a good wax

so I would recommend a synthetic wax

After baring my entire car, I used a good carnauba wax.

I keep fresh wax on it and thanks to the Clay

I had tried to use cleaner wax to remove but they weren't really coming off that easily if at all

At this point, use a good cleaner wax such as the supplied sample of Mother's carnuba cleaner wax to remove fine oxidation if necessary, followed by a good coat or three of pure carnuba wax

I spend 2 hours using the cleaner wax trying to get the car clean

Then I use the polish and the finally top it off with a layer of protective wax

After trying two of my favorite go-to cleaner waxes, my paint still felt gritty

Finish with a good quality wax, and I recommend the Top Coat.

I took it home and within a couple days I decided to give it a bath and nice wax job (with NuFinish).

Works great for removing all the buildup before applying fresh wax

It is by far the easiest wax I have ever used

I feel that wax is inferior to the look, protection, and durability of synthetic alternatives

All that dirt and grit stick to finishes(old wax) and dull the shine

Just remember to protect your finish after claying with an application of good automotive wax.

I finished it up with some Meguiars "clear coat safe" type wax and left my car with a mirror-like shine.

They are quite possibly the easiest polish and wax system to use, are reasonably priced, and provide stunning long lasting results.

If your paint has become rough and refuses to take a good waxing, clay bar may be a good option

And waxing was faster too since the paint was debris-free.

Typical wax cleaner was having zero impact.

You wash it, perhaps even use a cleaner/wax to remove oxidation

This time around I'm adding in another coat of synwax after the pure carnuba wax and the top coat, and will see if its worth the extra step.

The Liquid wax is great, I use it when I foam and pressure wash the car and the Quik wax after I waterless wash my car

Using this first before wax -- if the car feels like it needs it -- will make the car shine as close to new as possible after a good wax

I've always just used wax & cleaner wax on my cars and could feel the paint wasn't smooth.

, they last a few months but don't have the same shine as Carnuaba (Turtle Wax

Dish soap wash + clay bar + fresh wax made the paint pop and my 11 year old car look new!

Don't forget to use wax or a sealant (I like the Klasse High Gloss sealant) as a last step

Didn't realize how much crap was on the surface of the car because it was white but man it makes the wax finish 100x better so worth that price!

I used Mother's Step One cleaner wax on a small section of hood to compare.

I tried scrubbing, cleaner wax, and lots of elbow grease to no avail.

Lately, I have followed it with Mothers Glaze and then California Gold liquid wax

Followed it up with a nice Mothers cleaner/wax afterwards.

Just a few minutes with this system and a follow up with some good wax had it looking (and feeling) better than it was when I bought it

Follow this up with a good polish and wax and your car will be looking brand new!

It took a lot of oxidation off the paint and after applying Meguires cleaner wax the paints shine returned ten fold.

What was once a rough and grainy type feel is now a smooth wax type feel on your car!

The claybar did a much better job than the cleaner wax

But before you gloat, apply a good liquid wax (another half hour) for a durable shine that will LAST!!

Follow up with a nice car wax and you will enjoy the results.

I followed this with a rubbing compound on scrathces and Zymol wax, my new favorite wax

So I ordered the clay bar kit and when it arrived I was able to clean all the overspray from my motorcycle in half the time it took for the one area I was doing with the cleaner wax.
