Both of them said the Moto g6 is not compatible with the Sprint network so the headline for this phone on Amazon needs to remove the Sprint network because it does not work

Because of the silly back and forth naming scheme and inconsistency between US, international, and amazon prime edition phones, one could easily think this is a new g plus 5th gen aka g5 plus upgrade, but it’s not, the G5 plus uses a snapdragon 600 series cpu, this uses a snapdragon 400 series CPU like the much cheaper Moto E4 plus with better resolution & larger screen, more ram etc

I am happy so for and I do recommend this budget phone to everyone that has a little bit of patience and does not care for split second performance and camera and screen

It did come with some unneeded apps (Japanese & some other language translator) which I got rid of

However, many basic apps frequently freeze or don't respond

Did not like all the preloaded ads and apps but easy enough to delete....

I did disable the Amazon apps on the phone as we have them all on a Fire Tablet already.

So I decided to purchase the Moto G6 since it was cheaper and came unlocked so there wouldn't be any issues putting my SIM in

Once that is complete the invalid sim error will go away and the phone will work like normal.

Snap Chat is probably the worst offender that I have found; 4 out of 5 times, Snap Chat doesn't work or won't even open
