Really enjoying this device and streaming has been so much easier now.
-
I foolishly attempted to warn Motorola that this device is less robust to poor line conditions than other cable modems.
-
Firmly recommend avoiding this device.
-
There have been NO restarts or reboots with this mode, and the device is cool to the touch meaning there are no overheating issues
-
With servers running and smart home devices failing the almost twice weekly reboots are more frustration than it's worth
-
This device works amazingly and I've had no issues whatsoever
-
So far, I'm not really seeing the benefits of upgrading to this modem; I chose this from a list of Xfinity-approved devices that supports my recent change in internet service (extreme 300- with all the features listed, this seemed like a shoo-in)
-
I recheck the coax, as well as the connections and devices on that coax in the office, might buy another DOCSIS 3.1 modem and compare directly.
-
Stream the occasional movie, and really I don't have any complaints, and can only praise the device for its eye-popping Wi-Fi boost, for which I have no good explanation
-
Great device
-
Currently supports 16 wireless devices in a three story home.
-
Device refused to power on
-
smart devices you may need to power each one down before they recognize the new modem.
-
I have issues where this device has trouble recovering from a Comcast outage
-
If you expect this device to support WiFi and ISP telephony directly, you are looking at the wrong device
-
One wired port feeds a dumb Gigabit switch supporting five devices
-
In my case my modem at that point proceeded to update the firmware, and once it stabilized I then switched the ethernet cable to my router
