Intel PUMA 6 bugs have urged me to switch to another brand, however, when I installed this modem, it only goes up to 450Mbps down - which might be a Comcast configuration issue

DEFECTS".THEIR ARE many OTHERS WHICH HAVE USED THE INTEL PUMA 6 DEFECTIVE

The reason that i did this writeup is to protect Americans from being decieved into buying low quality ,overpriced, chinese, UNTESTED(missed elimination of defective intel puma6 chip) defective junk that overheats,arrive broken,and historically at amazon is reported to frequently burn out 1-3 mo

It has been working perfectly... since I'm technical and kind of a DOCSIS nerd, I can tell you it's technicals are better than several other flawed modems and gateways (Intel Puma anyone?).

In my case my modem at that point proceeded to update the firmware, and once it stabilized I then switched the ethernet cable to my router

So far so goodHaven’t had any problems and don’t eed to rent one anymore
