The wifi signal range under 5G is not as good as our old 2.4G DSL modem, but that might be related to the higher frequency band.

The built in router give me better range and coverage than any I have used in the past

Wireless range goes from the basement to the 2nd floor and the router works well in it for your wired devices.

Just go to advanced pane of Motorola screen and rename the networks, reassign passwords, even add guest networks ... remember to keep a notebook of all written SSID and passwords and you have a raging mega network of almost boundless range
