    • In a lightly populated suburban area (lots of trees!), the signal quality is poor (static) when the kids aren't much more than a 1/2 mile away and is completely lost at around a mile.

    • tech recommended resetting them, by pulling out the battery and letting them sit for over an hour... as silly as that was, it worked and the units haven't had an issues since!i've locked the buttons so my kids don't accidentally mess around with the units.
