I own a chinese no brand car vent holder that i bought from the auction side for about 3 bucks

This cell phone magnet works fine to hold my Sansung Note8, and it doesnt' get lose after installed in one of the car vents, but it shakes while driving.

Allows for safe, hands free driving, and fits nicely in my car vents

Not only do a rave about this for my car (vent to the left of the steering wheel), I have a suction version as a desk mount and a coworker got a cd mount one for their car.
