Mr. Coffee 5-Cup Coffee Maker, Black (4 Cup-White)

    • This one is very flimsy feeling and the lid on top doesn't give me confidence it will last
    • When you close the top lid the whole top flexes/bends down more than I think it should.
    • You absolutely need two hands to open the lid and even then it's not easy: the catch is directly in front (6:00 position) but there is no tab or lip to lift there.
    • The removable lid for the glass pot is very difficult to get back on and snap in place.
    • Lid broke.... not good.
    • I faithfully clean with a vinegar brew, but the lid inside and the piece the water comes out of is just disgusting and you can't take it out and clean it.
    • Lid broke.... not good.
    • works very well except when pouring a cup of coffee to keep from spilling you press the lid and burn your thumbas per every coffee maker and almost every coffee maker will over pourbut makes great coffee and that is why I bought it
    • Old review:This very basic model brews coffee, but the way the water tank lid fits doesn't keep water resulting from steam from dripping a lot down the outside and making a mess.
    • The plastic lid broke on the first use.
    • As one of the previous buyers stated, it spills hot coffee everywhere when you try to pour a cup and the lid is so hard to lift up.
    • As a minor point, the one-piece top lid requires two hands to snap open which is inconvenient if you don't remember to open the lid before you fill the carafe with water to pour into the coffemaker.
    • But if you don't make sure the top lid is firmly closed, it will spew liquid all over
    • The lid for the pot was broken when I opened the box.
    • In order to pour in water or fill it with coffee, you have to lift the top lid
