Mr. Coffee BVMC-BMG25 Cafe Grind 18 Cup Automatic Burr Grinder, Stainless Steel

    • My only complaint, aside from the hopper size, is that the numbers are tiny and the black printing on silver metal is hard to read, but this may be more a function of my old eyes than bad design
    • POOR DESIGN.
    • But there is no way to open the grinder's innards for effective cleaning, and so, since the grind chute is not well-designed or tight, bits of ground coffee slowly accumulate inside the grinder
    • Poorly designed
    • Mr coffee, you need to come out with a better design to avoid the mess.
    • In summary: there are far to many silly design problems that make this grinder a poor choice if you want to improve your coffee
    • This product should be recalled, as the design is fatally flawed
    • super terrible design, but it's a cheap product in the
    • Very poor design and is very loud
    • Terrible design, would definitely not recommend.
    • My main reasons for giving 3 stars instead of 4-5 are these: my first unit arrived damaged, with the hopper completely detached from its base, seems like the hopper is glued on to the base piece , so it could’ve been damaged in shipping, but I consider it to be a significant design flaw since it bears a decent load when filled with beans, and the last thing you want is a hopper coming off spilling your coffee beans everywhere
    • It's a bad design and I wish they'd fix it
    • When they modify these awkward design deficiencies they will have a good machine.-Keith

    • I'm an architect and know good design - this is not a well-designed product
    • Not airtight, bad design, spills grounds, can’t handle dark roasts without clogging
    • Very poor design.
    • Not repairable, just a really poor design and cheap materials.
    • What a horrible design!
    • No product should break like this unless it is a poor design.
    • I've owned at least three of these Mr. Coffee burr grinders over the last five or so years, because they are fairly cheap and widely available and grind very well when new, and based on how long those lasted, I can report that they are also badly designed, impossible to clean or repair, and always fail so quickly they're essentially disposable
    • Poorly design
    • Its very nice and works as designed but does it have to be so loud?!
    • With the amount time you have to fiddle with this thing, you're bound to spill due to the terrible connection design.
    • I specialize in green, sustainable design; this is the kind of product that fills our landfills because replacement parts are not available - the grinder still works
    • But since they won't, I've upgraded to a built-to-last grinder from  Capresso , and I'm happy I did that instead of rewarding this awful, disposable design with more repeat purchases.
    • Not from Mr Coffee, why would they support the poorly designed product they sold me
