    • I have used the Cuisine Art coffee pot exclusively for the past dozen years, but in the back of my mind I've been itching to get a thermal coffee maker, knowing that the thermal carafes keep the coffee hot but won't keep cooking the java till it has turned to licorice or burnt oil

    • The carafe keeps the coffee warm for a while
    • after receiving it an making my 1st pot of coffee I noticed that the carafe was hot on the outside this should not be with insulated carafe called company they sent a new one which is cool to the touch as it should be
    • And because there is no hot plate (just a well insulated thermal carafe), the coffee tastes just as good seven hours later (no burned coffee!)
    • I found the water reservoir, and decided to purchase an extra carafe as well
    • The carafe keeps your brew hot for hours
    • Yes, it does pour from the carafe slower than a glass
    • But I am guessing these are posted by people who have never had a thermal pot and dont understand you are supposed to "pre warm" a thermal carafe with hot water for w couple of minutes before brewing--"coffee

    • I love the double-walled insulated carafe that keeps the coffee hot and since there is no hot-plate, it won't ever overcook or burn the coffee.

    • The only minor issue I have is the weight of the thermal carafe when it is full, however since the carafe is not hot to the touch, I just use both hands to pour
    • I keep on purchasing because I love the carafe and how I can get a cup a few hours
    • I love the silver carafe but always check to see if it’s empty before you make your next pot...otherwise expect overflow.

    • How about a honk if things aren't fully in place like the grind basket and the carafe
    • During the weekends we go through 2 to 3 12-cup carafes each day between the two of us, so in both cases we don't have the coffee in the carafe long enough to judge how long the carafe might hold the temperature of the coffee inside because we consume it fast
    • My last coffee maker was a combination of a Bonavita coffee maker (terrible carafe) with a Black and Decker carafe.
    • Bad: The thermal carafe is not terribly efficient, and we found ourselves microwaving our cups all the time
    • Product makes great coffee and carafe is excellent design (durable, heat retention, pours well), but is of little use at home without a functional timer.
    • This one--with the stainless thermal carafe--does neither job well

    • A full 12-cup thermal carafe's worth of coffee
    • Makes a good cup of coffee and the carafe keeps the coffee pretty hot for a long period of time without a heating element
    • I like the thermal carafe
    • My husband gives this coffee maker five stars on performance - coffee taste is perfect and the carafe keeps it hot until it's gone
    • This would be very user friendly and prevent this awful mess which has happened twice over the years and not by a guest brewer either, but me who knows of this "feature".To cleaning the carafe
    • You can't break the carafe as it is stainless steel.
    • The carafe is solid and almost worth the buy alone
    • Only drawback is that Carafe isn't transparent
    • I used to scrub (with a scrubbing pad) my previous stainless steel carafe once a week.

    • My coffee pot's carafe lid shipped defective.
    • The thermal carafe is nice because no one likes burnt
    • Coffee maker makes very hot coffee and the thermal carafe keeps it hot.
    • The carafe kept the coffee hot until the 2 hour timer went off.
    • In addition, I prefer this carafe for two reasons: its shape is bottom heavy to resist knock-overs, and a button must be pressed to pour coffee, meaning the pot cannot be left unsealed allowing the coffee to grow cold
    • My issues are that the carafe is solid - so you need to open it to check that it is empty before brewing (I have brewed a few pots with the previous day's dregs still in the carafe).I also like that you can remove the reservoir to fill it, rather than using the carafe to add water
    • My boyfriend and I have enjoyed the insulted carafe as I go to work 2 hours before him and it has been nice not having to brew two separate pots in order for us both to enjoy hot coffee
    • Love the carafe and the ease of filling water canister.
    • I did notice a plastic-like smell right out of the box, but I cleaned the coffee maker and carafe and ran a water cycle through (as suggested in the directions), and that took care of the smell
    • The included carafe can keep the coffee hot for up to four hours.
    • The water tank is easy to fill and the carafe keeps your coffee nice and hot throughout your workday, party or morning reading time

    • The carafe keeps coffee warm for 4+ hours
    • It brews fast and hot and the thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for a few hours
    • I love the sleek base, the glossy matte metal facade, the futuristic buttons and even that carafe
    • We really like the stainless steel Thermal Carafe...much better that breakable glass (they never last here).
    • This carafe is much harder to wash though, with a much smaller opening at the top than the glass ones
    • The carafe keeps the coffee blistering hot for at least 3 hours.
    • The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot enough for about 1/2 hour.
    • and the carafe, it has a funky metallic/chemical smell to
    • I like the carafe
    • I love the fact that the water or coffee stays warm inside the insulated carafe enough to drink without using the microwave even after a few hours sitting.
    • Even the carafe and the mechanism that permits the coffee to flow are improved
    • The carafe began to leak a month later
    • Be sure to use your carafe to refill the tank so you never make a mistake overfilling the carafe during a new brewing cycle
    • The carafe keeps coffee piping hot for at least 90 minutes - and the pot has a freshness timer that lets you know how long since the pot was brewed.
    • LOVE THE CARAFE
    • I'm only giving this two stars because it has a sleek design and the thermal carafe seems to work well.
    • That said, the thermal carafe works, and works well, to keep the hot coffee hot, without that awful hot plate burnt coffee flavor
    • Thermal carafe keeps it hot.
    • The carafe is much harder to clean the inside of without a tool wherein you could do a decent job by hand with the older ones wider mouth
    • in an overly extravagant way.1 star for being a functional coffee pot and workingAnd 1 star for the really nice carafe
    • Coffee maker was ok, but the carafe didn't keep coffee hot and didn't pour well.
    • Modern good looks, a carafe that really keeps the coffee warm for hours, fairly easy to clean all the components and most importantly, a nonexistent hot plate that eliminates the worries/bother of having to manually shut it off after every use
    • We really prefer this carafe, as it has a button to press to pour the coffee, rather than the clumsy practice of turning the entire top on less expensive Mr Coffee models
    • Love the stainless steel carafe and removable water filter.
    • It has a large capacity carafe of 12 cups, enough for 5 of us to fill large travel mugs.
    • In my original review I stated the carafe kept the coffee hot several hours
    • we wanted a Stainless steel carafe
    • This carafe keeps the coffee quite hot for several hours and very warm for several more hours.

    • Well designed carafe, does not leak when pouring coffee.
    • All that aside, it makes an excellent cup of brewed coffee and the carafe keeps it hot for 4-6 hours.
    • One thing I can attest to is that the stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee piping hot for ages, a lot longer than one of my old machine for example - Melitta 10-Cup Coffee Maker with Vacuum Stainless Thermal
    • Before I prep the coffee to brew, I shake the carafe and/or open, empty, and rinse the carafe to be sure it is empty.3
    • The coffee taste so much better and the carafe keeps the coffee hot for a long time
    • The carafe keeps coffee much warmer, much longer than glass carafes, and I love the way it looks
    • Like the thermal carafe.
    • I have an old Mr.Coffee Unit that still works 30 years later, unfortunately I am the best at breaking a glass coffee Carafe
    • The carafe itself really keeps the temperature of the brewed coffee quite warm, drinkable without microwaving for at least four hours
    • Great for folks who don't like glass carafes
    • It comes out very hot, the carafe keeps it hot and the taste is great.
    • Well as I mentioned, originally I was gunna give it 3 but the Carafe is amazing
    • My boyfriend and I have enjoyed the insulted carafe as I go to work 2 hours before him and it has been nice not having to brew two separate pots in order for us both to enjoy hot coffee
    • Number one being that is brews into a stainless carafe
    • So take your chances if you like b/c this seems to happen sporadically so maybe you'll get lucky.
    • Works as you would expect, keep that java flowing!
    • Second, if I put more than 3 tablespoons of ground coffee in the reusable basket, that I had to order on its own, tons of ground coffee gets blasted everywhere in the basket and water filter, as well as coming through into the coffee.
    • I have a Keurig coffee maker and as much as I love the convenience, the cost of buying k-cups daily is expensive and the coffee is not always as strong as in a coffee maker
    • The water reservoir is easy to clean as it comes off in a single unit to carry to the sink for a good, soapy wash.
    • Does not spread the water over the grains as well as it could, but not badly either.
    • The carafe fits snug into the housing, and prevents as good as it can to prevent any heat loss for the coffee dripping into it
    • The lid of the carafe could use some revamping to make it easier to clean as I have concerns about what could grow in it over
    • Being in a caraffe it does not burn and you can even heat the coffee up in the microwave and its as good as it was when first brewed.
    • This coffee seems just as good as with our slower machine, so they must have something with their claim to have hit the right temperature for the brew to enable them to do it faster
