You're sunk if you lose a cap because they will run in your bag without it--stained two of my backpacks because I was careless

My one tip (no pun intended!) is to occasionally twist the little cap on the end of the pen (the opposite end from the nib) to keep the pen from rattling.

That brings me to the only problem I have with them: the caps are garbage

then I wouldn't recommend these for that purpose because there is no grip and the cap is really hard to put back on/take off

Smooth feeling depending on your preference( could feel scratchy b/c so thin).Makes hand writing look neater and more legible.
