I'll best honest, I preferred my setup of Boss Blues Driver (Overdrive) and my ProCo Rat pedal but this was a solid guitar pedal (though the construction is not on par with other MXR pedals with the cheaper metal box)

Basically, if you get the right setup, you'll get great tone.
