It DOESN'T sound good when plugged in DI, though, because – since it's essentially an amp head – it really needs SOME kind of speaker cabinet; but this can be basically ANY cabinet, as far as I can tell; and can be remedied in-the-box by running the DI signal through a convolution amp modeler like ReCabinet, convolution reverb and cabinet Impulse Response, or if you use a piece of amp simulation software like Guitar Rig – but just using the cabinet without the head
