it's distortion, but a very nice one, sustain, life, it has everything, even the low gain is nice, and the noise gate love it

The gate works fine when you're either playing with low-gain settings or not playing anything at all; but when the gain and outputs start to get above about 50% each, very loud buzzing noise begins creeping in the moment the guitar's sustain starts to drop
