MXR M102 Dyna Comp Compresor Pedal

    • Great Pedal!
    • This pedal is great for the price
    • Controls:The Dyna Comp has 2 controls, Output (volume) and Sensitivity (compression amount) - I set the Output so that it was the same as the max output of my POD X3 - the MXR Output matched the POD at about 75% (meaning the pedal can give you a significant volume boost if used in front of an amp.
    • This pedal does the trick
    • I love this pedal
    • Very good pedal.
    • This pedal does not mess with your tone and adds no undesirable noise
    • The classic compression pedal.
    • used.the tone is great - but if you use distortion or have some interference issues this pedal will make noise all over the place
    • This pedal is great
    • I placed the MXR in line between the guitar and POD X3 like a pedal in front of an amp, and used my Danelectro as it has some nasty frequency issues built in (!
    • It's a good pedal to have.
    • :It's a great pedal
    • The problem is not this pedal
    • I like MXR pedals (their Carbon Copy is one of my favorite pedals ever
    • Great pedal for my board....
    • So many pedals are so hard to read the dials, even if you bend down
    • This is a great classic pedal.
    • As with all compressors, if you have a buzzy rig, try to clean it up with better cables, a noise suppressor/ noise gate, if you have a daisy chain you may wish to isolate your noisier pedals from your non-problematic pedals, OR you may need to have your guitar or amp serviced if they're nice enough not to buzz (not being a jerk!!)
    • Not a fancy huge pedal
    • The pedal sounds great with my American HSS Strat, however I did not receive the Dunlop Tuner that was supposed to come ship with it.
    • You want distortion get another pedal.
    • Nice pedal
    • This pedal provides the attack I've been missing in my setup
    • Dyna Comp is a solid and useful pedal
    • But for those of you that really have an ear for tone, even though this pedal does color your tone somewhat, it still sounds very good.. so this could be compansated by adjusting your amp settings or an eq pedal after it... but it doesn't suck your tone it just colors it
    • This is a great pedal, to be
    • This pedal helps my little tube amp "gain" that little something extra.
    • This is a very popular pedal for many reasons
    • Read a lot about compressors before getting it and found this one as a mid price / excelent quality pedal
    • All in all, great pedal, no regrets.
    • Excellent pedal ...and thanks for the gift ( cable and púas )!!!
    • This is a great pedal to have in your setup, for those times you want a clean sound that will cut through the mix, yet will not just sound blaringly loud and undefined
    • With the output at 3/4, and the sensitivity at 50% this pedal gives you the classic chunky funk sound - funk and strummed chords sound amazing through this thing
    • Pretty quiet (as in no extra noise)
