I've run this through a couple of different amps, and direct into garageband and the sound quality is excellent in all cases.

This gives you options for direct & mic'd recording due to the multiple outputs, I've had great results mixing the DI down with an additional feed from a condenser mic on my amp, and I'm not even going through a mixing console, just through a simple Tascam stereo USB interface direct into Garageband.
