Not just a basic chorus pedal in market. Each unit has 2 types of important effects that players liked Normal and Tri chorus Tone Lock function and one preset save/recall New generation 32-bit DSP, high performance 24-bit 44.1 kHz...
But for a few dollars more, you can get a much more powerful looper.
If you are super strapped for coin, this unit will get the job done but for around $30 more you can get a much more capable looper pedal
Comparing this to other loopers I have used (Boss, Digitech, T.C.) the NUX has a built-in rhythm guide (drum machine), which is quite unique but limited; however useful for practice, but otherwise, a looper nonetheless
Given the choice between this pedal and my TC Ditto, if I was looking for a good looper to spend my hard earned money on, I think I'd still stick with the Ditto, mainly for TC's reputation for ruggedness, reliability, and customer service
Best looper iv found, this thing can record sound over each layer of a track that you want to put on it, save it, you can become a one man band!!!
The "Deluxe" switch is a nice feature and adds variation to each of the
So, a nice feature that could be added to future models would be a stereo headphone jack.
There's an auto-start mode, like that on the DigiTech Trio, in which the Loop Core waits for you to start playing before recording- a nice feature, though it takes a few button pushes to set it up
The device worked for ten minutes with battery and then it died as if it got hot and shorted out
So, the feature set on this pedal is amazing for the dollar, and despite storing a LOT of loops, I'm afraid it's just..."okay"
I have a Dunlop Uni and an MXR Mini Uni, but both have a weird sound as though the effect was not integrated with the sound of the guitar, but more like laying on top of the tone.
I prefer my Modulation effectsto be of a high enough qualitythat they don't make me feel weird, and every sound on this boxmakes me feel comfort-chills when i hear it
So, I received this Nu-x looper today and hooked it up and the stereo sound (via the aux-in jack) is terrific.
I only gave it a 4 because it is so inexpensive because the effects are not particulary lush sounding
Like the different modalities you can change it too, and the different ranges within each of the effects you can use; only thing I didnt like is the chassis, buttons seems flaky and loose at times, need to be extra careful when stepping on it.
One nice thing, for timing challenged folks like me, if you set up the drums first without recording any music, it kind of just makes the timing work (that's close enough to quantizing to make my life happy, even though they don't list this as a feature)
It's a shame that NUX seems to have no advertising budget and this thing is hard to find
This thing is dope AF
This thing sounds awesome, has many different permutations of sound possibilities, and more importantly, the uni-vibesounds darn great
Some effects I thought were better than others, as expected, but some were very good, such as the Univibe and the Tremolo
I originally bought it to get a cheap stereo panning effect, but once I landed on the Uni-vibe, I immediately replaced my actual Uni-vibe with this pedal.
The effects are all very usable (except for pan, which is useless to me as I never run two amps) and you can tweak them quite a bit in various fun ways which make them more useful and versatile.
The weakest effect is the chorus
This pedal maintains your volume level and the effects are pleasantly good.
I also work with the retailers to ensure honest descriptions and products that work as advertised to make our shopping experience on Amazon better.
The device worked for ten minutes with battery and then it died as if it got hot and shorted out
Product worked exactly as advertised
