For the last two months, I have enjoyed the NAD D1050 DAC from the new D range as my headphone amp at work, and it's been absolutely great

Feature set is great, but power seems barely adequate, I don't believe it is 50 watts/channel, an older 20 watt amp pushed the same speakers much louder and 'fuller' and based solely on recollection, nowhere near as powerful as the original NAD.

NAD iPhone app is crappy, as is Spotify Connect

but my friend does, and she reports it works well if you stay within the range and your neighbor doesn't have a 25 year old microwave :-)i think we shall see far more products in this category, and NAD has taken the lead with a great sounding, feature rich, future proof product
