Need for Speed Most Wanted - Playstation 3

    • The game map is an expanded copy of Paradise City from Burnout Paradise
    • If you enjoyed "Burnout Paradise", you probably will enjoy this even with the frustrations
    • 2012**Multiplayer is definitely as diverse as in Burnout Paradise if not moreso, given that many of the cars (including the ones you receive from pre-ordering) are only able to be used in Multiplayer.
    • If you liked burnout paradise, this is a must play
    • If you liked Burnout Paradise, chances are you will like this game.
    • this game is perfect if you enjoyed burnout paradise since this game is the same but with cops.since it was made by the same company you could kind of assume that they would use the same
    • It's a lot more like Burnout Paradise and less like NFSMW
    • Prior to NFSHP, Criterion designed a successful "Burnout Paradise"
    • if you played Burnout Paradise you will note that everything is pretty much like Paradise city, also the crashes, the gas station repairs and the takedowns are trademarks borrowed from Burnout franchise
    • Burnout Paradise had NO LICENSED vehicles
    • In order to obtain upgrades for a better-performed car, you'll need to compete in Playlists, which contain different modes, noting one mode that also appeared in Burnout Paradise, it involves jumping
    • In Burnout Paradise they also had a team mode where you tried to take each other out and a most wanted race where your friends tried to take you out
    • When I bought this game, it was a fantastic spiritual successor to Criterion's open-world arcade racer Burnout Paradise
    • Realistically speaking it should've been called Burnout Paradise 2
    • Essentially, this is Burnout Paradise II
    • It's more for people who like burnout paradise ( - no barrel rolls, or stunts due to real car companies not wanting full fake crashes
    • If you liked Burnout Paradise, and this is what I'd consider a spiritual sequel to it, you'll love this game! This isn't a "normal" Need for Speed game.
    • As others have mentioned, this is just a bad copy of Burnout Paradise 2.0 with licensed cars
    • To get to the point here, Criterion has basically taken their successful game of Burnout Paradise and due to their previous success of Hot Pursuit have hoodwinked EA games
    • The various events in Burnout Paradise were diversified and had cars to match them.
    • (GT5, Burnout Paradise and NFS:HP) as the best you can buy.
    • Like Burnout Paradise, there are gates to be smashed, and billboards as well.
    • This game it's like Burnout Paradise, not like NFS Most Wanted (the first one)
    • The online is ok and takes pieces from Burnout paradise with races and challenges mixed in
    • As I get experience in Multiplayer, I will update my review, but it definitely seems to be at least as good as Burnout Paradise's, which is a testimony as to why there is still a good online community existing in that game 3 years after release
    • We're not talking Gran Turismo level of difficulty, but it's also not as easy as the original Burnout Paradise, or even Blur.
    • garage, it's all done via EasyDrive ( while driving just like burnout paradise had
    • Ok, so the story's lame, but you didn't have one at all in Burnout Paradise either.
    • is that it is modernized version of Burnout Paradise
    • Much of the game could be fairly characterized as Burnout Paradise 2, which is not what NFS fans are looking for
    • If you play Burnout Paradise
    • As mentioned, it's more like the outstanding Burnout Paradise.
    • Now don't get me wrong, I really liked Burnout Paradise and have enjoyed several other games from the Burnout series.
    • I had a lot of fun with Burnout Paradise, and this game is similar but on a grander scale.
    • This might be a valid complaint, it is hard for me to judge since I am so familar with Burnout Paradise.
    • Criterion are the same developers that created Burnout Paradise; a massive open world racing sandbox
    • In Burnout Paradise you could cut half a race distance if you knew how to get around the world
    • This game is yet ANOTHER flat, dull, small-scale Need For Speed game, and being that it's made by Criterion this time around, it's a bit of a watered-down, dull flat small-scale wannabe version of Burnout Paradise
    • If you are a fan of Burnout Paradise, you are going to like this game

    • Since I wrote this review, I took the game to a friend of mine to see somebody else suffering as I did and after 50 minutes of him playing it and giving it a second chance we reached an accord, this game its awful.
    • I love this one more as i use it with my wheel which makes it awesome
    • Spiritual successor to burnout paradise, but not as great as that was.
    • Outside of the racing events, there are also ones that involve getting away from the cops (wreck your friend=them getting busted and disowning you) as well as who can drift the most, get the most air, break the most billboards, etc

    • I would have been PISSED if I paid the $10 for a online pass and the multiplayer sucked as much as I thought it did
