NEEWER 160 LED CN-160 Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel Digital Camera / Camcorder Video Light, LED Light for Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Panasonic,SONY, Samsung and Olympus Digital SLR Cameras

    • ITS GREAT......batteries AA last a long time.....
    • Exposed batteries could be problematic
    • It somehow drained six AA batteries while sitting unused for three days
    • When I got this product the battery adapter and the battery was missing
    • Battery powered and portable
    • If you use one of the smaller batteries like the Sony NP-F570, the battery is flush with the back of the light so you can lay the light on the floor pointing straight up if you want
    • It definitely eats up battery life so be sure to use strong batteries.
    • I usually use rechargeable AA batteries (it takes 6) because I have not bought the compatible camera battery
    • The rechargeable battery adapters are handy if you buy the correct battery
    • Drains batteries and mount could be a little
    • It also has a really flimsy battery cover to it
    • Do not buy the generic battery for this as it will not hold a charge (one i got with light only would hold little less then 1/2 charge if that) spring for the better battery
    • Great battery life
    • Odd battery set-
    • Adjustable intensity of light and a rechargeable battery
    • It's terrible, I bought it to take it to weddings but the batteries always move (the grip is not good) and then it doesn't work anymore.
    • I do like the battery life LED's, the dimmer and the fact it can take battery packs instead of just AA batteries
    • Neewer CN-AC2 DC 7.5V 2A Switching Power will save you a lot of battery money and stress over the life of your light
    • I recommend not buying cheap batteries as it effects the performance of the light
    • Rechargable battery isn't very secure
    • Just buy the rechargeable battery because regular batteries will die after one use
    • I’m guessing the rechargeable battery would be best for this device
    • It uses AA batteries and has great battery life
    • I had a concern about using my old SONY batteries and to my surprise, both of my SONY np-f750 and np-f330 batteries works with this light
    • I would recommend a different battery that is not as long
    • and it's able to be mounted on top of the camera or on a separate tripod/stand, and it has a good battery indicator on it and a great fader
    • This works great in any situation2 - You can use regular AA batteries or get yourself the battery below with a charger and you have a longer lasting, rechargeable battery for it.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007Q9PWQ/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_6At this price point there really isn't anything not to like.
    • I plan on getting some inexpensive rechargeable batteries for these
    • Bring some extra batteries for long setups and/or shoots, but I like it.
    • The connections have becone very touch and I usually have to pry something in witht the battery to get the connection to stay.
    • Pros: Works like it should, adjustable scroll wheel to dim or brighten, battery tester, great for streaming and making your camera pick up details easier
    • i hope i order the right one.i ordered Battery for Sony NP-F550 NP-
    • I liked it, until I went to use it again after one time and the batteries were dead.
    • It does drain the AA batteries really
    • It came missing the back battery cover as well
    • They’re extremely bright as well, but what surprised me is the battery power; I bought these many, many months ago, and with casual use, the original batteries I put in are still going strong.
    • Very bright, sucks the battery fast though
    • I've used it a lot and it still hasn't killed any of the cheap AA batteries I put in it
    • its fat* battery indicater is not acurate at all
    • This is great because if you are on a budget you can use regular AA batteries to until you can afford the rechargeable pack for the light which buy the way is not bad
    • AA batteries are expensive and are un professional lookinf
    • great battery just dies kind of quick so make sure you have replacements
    • great battery just dies kind of quick so make sure you have replacements
    • Doesn't drain batteries fast
    • Doesn't drain batteries fast
    • It also as the capability of taking different batteries such as the Sony FM, Sony FM, Sony FH, Sony F series and Panasonic SD Series instead of only using the standard AA batteries
    • I use rechargable batteries and they work good, but found I needed to recharge sooner that I thought.
    • Looked at smaller unit but this uses standard AA recharable batteries and even Sony and other rechargeable batteries, very happy with larger unit and light output is adjustable.
    • I have used it a few times and it is still as bright as it was with fresh batteries.
    • Very bright, Long battery life.
    • Tried good Duracell, then good lithium ion rechargeable batteries, but neither worked any longer than the other
    • Drains the batteries after 1 hour of use
    • Very bright light, decent battery life (use rechargeable though, or you'll pay for it again in the long run), fairly heavy, decent construction quality that could be a bit better, but
    • But after a week it caused my batteries to leak and died the following week.
    • Great product just need to find some good rechargeable batteries
    • -Can add that there is an inexpensive Neewer rechargeable battery & charger available on Amazon made for this light
    • Provides an insane amount of light for the price tag, batteries last long enough for the field, and very durable
    • Buy good batteries
    • While rocking the (6x)AA configuration I put fresh batteries in it before packing up and going on a week and a half trip.
    • It's bright, lasts a good amount of time on fresh batteries, and weighs very little.
    • Also it can run on (a lot of) AA batteries, as well as Sony batteries, and comes with an adaptor for Panasonic batteries, has a power level indicator
    • Drains battery like nobody's business however
    • I was afraid it would drain batteries quickly because it does require 6 AA's, however I have used this light now for 4 separate events and haven't had to replace the batteries yet
    • I recommend not buying cheap batteries as it effects the performance of the light
    • I would also recommend getting rechargeable batteries as it does die quite quickly.
    • It does drain the AA batteries really
    • I opened the battery pack and the batteries looked like they had eroded
    • With the filters you can achieve a good amount of lighting looks and the batteries past a surprisingly long time!
    • Don't keep batteries in it when not in use, or they might drain
    • Did take quite a few batteries but they never did die on me in the two years I used this product
    • AA batteries die way to fast.
    • Good battery life, extremely bright
    • f550 batteries you can't go wrong for this price.
    • Getting the rechargeable battery was worth it too but lasts long with aa batteries as well.
    • if you turn it on and off more than a few times it drains the batteries instantaneously.
    • No problems so far, should have bought a rechargeable battery for it though, I will eventually.
    • If the the light didn't leak this would be a 4 star light, but a light that leaks battery acid is considered useless to me.
    • I was using good quality alkaline batteries both times and confirmed the lamp was off.
    • but luckily I already had a 48 pack of amazon basic batteries and they work just fine
    • I felt the battery pack was a bit expensive, considering that was 50% of the cost of the light rig, but I really dislike buying batteries for high-drain electronic devices
    • Very bright, sucks the battery fast though
    • I strongly recommend that if you DO purchase this or any similar devices that you also purchase at LEAST one LI-ION battery and charger, don't waste your money on high powered AA batteries, try to be a little greener than that.
    • My only gripe is that it eats up batteries like a monster
    • The mount is a little weak for heavy so use some care since the light is bulky and the batteries about double its weight
    • By buying the Power Supply adapter, no need to buy expensive batteries.
    • Just make sure to tape the back with electrical tape or duct tape if using batteries so they will not fall out
    • I do weddings, and this thing was a Godsend compared to those awful battery belts.
    • For the price it's nice, but after one week the batteries leaked out and corroded the spring
    • Super bright and battery last long.
    • Obviously this is a disappointment as purchasing proprietary batteries for the light significantly increases the cost.
    • Battery dies really quickly, even when using the bigger batteries
    • In summary, decent quality, light weight, popular battery adapters, decent performance, and a extremely reasonable price = 5 stars.
    • Amazing battery life and a good light output
    • Cheap, reliable, runs on AAs or NP-F. Good battery life.
    • nice one but battery
    • good battery life and high quality of LED light ,
    • 6 AA batteriesbut I will be purchasing the Sony compatible battery packs
    • Battery like is not great
    • Battery drains too fast and the shoe mount needs a little sanding/fitting to fit properly in most shoe mounts
    • id recommend rechargeable batteries you will need 6 for use as well as 6 for back up the light dies in 3-4 hours of full blast use
    • Pros:-can be extremely bright- battery lifeCons:- little bulky to carry in a camera bag
    • Love that the lights are adjustable and like any other battery-operated device, the fresher your batteries, the brighter the lights
    • , it's dimmable, the color temp is not as cool as you would expect from LED, it's bright with a fairly decent throw, the battery lasts forever
    • Its the battery issue
    • easy dimmer adjuster on the side, and rechargeable battery
    • Battery is not included, but I definitely recommend a rechargeable one
    • Two 160 LED lights and two batteries with a charger cost a total of $76.
    • This light at this price is the number one in the market- excellent lighting- you can use AA battery or rechargeable battery- easy to carry- you can put it on a stand or on you camera
    • The analog power/dimmer switch is reliable, the battery tester appears accurate for what it is.::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::UPDATES :: Working fine months later, the unit can have batteries in it while stored & won't drain them.
    • easy dimmer adjuster on the side, and rechargeable battery
    • Pros:-can be extremely bright- battery lifeCons:- little bulky to carry in a camera bag
    • id recommend rechargeable batteries you will need 6 for use as well as 6 for back up the light dies in 3-4 hours of full blast use
    • I also use it as a work light since it's battery operated and very easy to move around
    • Didn’t come with batteries, but batteries are cheap and I always have a ton with me.
    • Usually, batteries can last fairly a long time but still I would recommend getting compatible Sony batteries for professional shooting events
    • Bright light, just wish it had a better battery cover.
    • This is a good buy for anyone in the market to buy lighting and I will be using it atop my camera as well as on a tripod to light scenery
    • It's not a pro light by any means, but it will allow to to shoot well lit video, just as good as with a $400 light, any time you pop it on your camera
    • Good price, it works as it should!
    • It brought the warmth of the light up to around 4500-4800 Kelvin while staying just as bright as without the gel
    • n’t illuminate the whole scene
    • n’t illuminate the whole scene
    • Could not believe how bright the lights can e dialed up to.
