NEEWER 160 LED CN-160 Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel Digital Camera / Camcorder Video Light, LED Light for Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Panasonic,SONY, Samsung and Olympus Digital SLR Cameras

    • It's cheap plastic
    • Pretty cheap plastic and overpriced but does the job and good to let employees use all day long since they don't take care of equipment unless they own it.
    • Made out the worst and flimsiest plastic ever, the screw that holds it down got striped the firs time I installed it on my camera then the base cracked!
    • Is cheap plastic but with care should last a while
    • Naturally it isn't terrific construction, which is expected with the price, but I sent it back because it is incredibly fragile plastic and felt I would break it in no time
    • Only complaint is that the batteries are oddly exposed and the whole thing looks and feels very cheap/plastic
    • just as described very bright comes with a nice some what sturdy plastic case for diffusers amber and frosted that just slides in tabs on the front of the light
    • Only downside is cheap plastic material
    • Bright and highly functional inexpensive light, however, hot shoe mount is made of cheap plastic and didn't fit into the top of my Canon camera
    • The orange gel was to dark for my outside day photography,so I bought transparent plastic yellow dish and cut out the shape of original gel and use that instead
    • I don't like the flimsy plastic mount and will be building a custom aluminum gopro style mount
    • The plastic is flimsy even by China's "standards".
    • Mine wasn't "Neewer" brand, and the mount piece was a little different (bulkier plastic), but it's about the same.
    • The threads on the hot shoe mount were stripped on the cheap plastic fitting
    • The first event I shot with it, the light fell out of the hot shoe mount 4 times and hit the ground--you don't want to over tighten because it's cheap plastic
    • Honestly for the price I would give this 5 stars but, as expected the material is cheap plastic but that was definitely expected
    • 4 star cause the shoe is light plastic and can break if not careful
    • It is made of cheap plastic, but you get what you pay for
    • Very thick, heavy and comes with cheap plastic filters.
    • Made of cheap plastic material
    • This is a good buy for anyone in the market to buy lighting and I will be using it atop my camera as well as on a tripod to light scenery
    • It's not a pro light by any means, but it will allow to to shoot well lit video, just as good as with a $400 light, any time you pop it on your camera
    • Good price, it works as it should!
    • It brought the warmth of the light up to around 4500-4800 Kelvin while staying just as bright as without the gel
    • not all of us have the money to buy hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of lighting equipement, but turned out there is a 90$ solution, which gets the job doneThis is a Video Light which is formed by 160 LED’s, it comes in a 14*9.5cm body which means it’s pretty compact but feels really cheap, since it’s all made of plastic and it weights about 175g, , on the back of this pannel we find the Power Source which I’ll talk about in minute
    • Yet same a s the softbox works great
    • it is the scrolll wheel which will allow you to turn on, off and adjust the LED’s Brightness, next to it, is a button that will indicate you the amount of power your batteries still have, the LED lights will last for approximatly 50000 hours, and believe me they are pretty bright but on the other hand they consume a pretty big amount of power, talking about power these LED’s are hopped up with 6 double A
    • n’t illuminate the whole scene
    • Seems like I tighten it down as hard as I
    • well I like it
