NEEWER 160 LED CN-160 Dimmable Ultra High Power Panel Digital Camera / Camcorder Video Light, LED Light for Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Panasonic,SONY, Samsung and Olympus Digital SLR Cameras

    • This thing is BRIGHT at it's max, but I rarely need that much for what I do, so the variable brightness feature is handy.
    • I love this thing.
    • Which can be a pain in the butt, but these things are great to have on set
    • These things are amazing.
    • A very nice thing about these lights is that they are balanced closer to daylight then normal hot-lights, which are usually around 3,400 degrees
    • Absolutely love this thing.
    • When turned on the 'power measurement' thing on the back doesn't work accurately but you dont really need to use this function to know when you need to put new batteries in or not, as the light does dim significantly when the power is running out
    • But one thing I don't like is there was no rear-cover over the battery compartment for when you're using AA cells
    • The nice thing is, it comes with adaptors for nearly every kind of battery you could think of
    • these things are great
    • Woah, this thing is awesome
    • It's prefect would buy again but the only bad thing was that I didn't receive one of the filters as everyone else got in the box.
    • I love this thing.
    • This thing is ridiculous
    • This light is the best thing I bought for my camera
    • Even hand-held the thing for a lot of it ... and it worked perfectly
    • This thing is cheap, light, and gets the job done.
    • Wow this thing is bright.
    • This thing isn't beautiful but it gets the job done.
    • This thing is a steal
    • The only bad thing I can say about it is that there isn't an on/off switch, so make sure you have plenty of batteries or better yet a couple of camcorder batteries
    • This thing has been insanely useful for those situations where you have a camera flash that would ordinarily completely wash the subject; in using this, I've been able to set the flash to a lower output, use this off the side (using a base attachment stand that came with my camera flash) to establish some more natural shadows and take pictures that look a whole lot more natural (particularly with the reddish/peach diffuser that comes with the kit).
    • Another thing to consider is the CN-160 dims as the battery drains, and I don't think the battery meter is accurate
    • This thing is bright, batt last and it works
    • The only thing lacking to make this even better would be more battery adapters.
    • When turned on the 'power measurement' thing on the back doesn't work accurately but you dont really need to use this function to know when you need to put new batteries in or not, as the light does dim significantly when the power is running out
    • But even if the thing melts down (very doubtful) or breaks in any sort of way
    • If this thing breaks off or the screws strip out, then you'll be rigging this thing with gaffer's tape to your stand
    • Perfect, the only thing I don't like is the build of the battery door, after awhile it gets worn out, otherwise its very useful
    • This thing is BRIGHT!
    • Wow..this thing is BRIGHT
    • This thing is awesome
    • This thing gets bright!
    • This thing is BRIGHT.
    • This thing is good
    • The only annoying thing is waiting for the arrival which I believe was 2 and a half weeks or so.
    • I have several lights and options to use, but I love this thing
    • The nice thing is it comes with two diffusers and it has a reach of about 25-30 feet at full brightness
    • The great thing is that the Canon does so well in low light that most of the time I only needed the LED on the lowest setting, but then had plenty of light to add when we were on the beach in total darkness.
    • This thing is SUPER bright
    • Best thing is the quality of the light in terms of skin tones
    • For the price this things is great
    • These things are bright and the light levels can be adjusted
    • One thing i dont like its not a bad thing but the back battery cover has a hole in
    • this thing is Bright!
    • Not a bad thing.
    • This thing is crazy bright!!!!
    • I love this little thing, it goes right on top of my DSLR or i can just attach it to a tripod
    • This thing is a monster, I film street interviews at night and I can illuminate a whole city block if I wanted to
    • The only thing i would change is the plastic hotshoe mount, for someone thats rough on there equipment would break it rather fast
    • excellent lighting, it makes it easier to to film on night, the only bad thing is that it does not plug in directly to electricity
    • and so i did.this thing is so awesome
    • THIS THING IS AWESOME!
    • This thing is super bright
    • I love these things
    • The light itself is great and produces a nice warm hue, but the whole thing is SUPER cheap
    • This thing's dimmer did the trick.
    • I don't consider this a big deal since I never use it, but it does strike me as a really cheapskate thing for Neewer to do
    • On battery power this thing lasts well over an hour (haven't used it longer than that)
    • Wow even after reading the other reviews I wasn't really prepared for how intense this thing is.
    • This thing is great!1
    • This thing is BRIGHT
    • It's not always the most secure thing.
    • I dropped this thing out a moving car and it still works perfectly.
    • This thing is amazing, super bright
    • Only negative thing I would improve on is the battery casing/battery life
    • This thing is BRIGHT
    • , however this thing is comptabile with quite a few rechargable ones which I’ll be mentioning later on, now talking about the package itself this video light comes with a Yellow / White and Purple filters to adjust the color tempratures if you would like so, it also comes with a Holder, or Camera Adapter that can rotate 360* so you can mount it on your DSLR though you can still mount this on any Tripod even without the adapter, keep in mind that this thing is manufactured by a lot of other companies such as Wansen or Yongnuo but trust me they are all the same .So basiclly this will offer you tons of lighting to your shots in low light situations, but if you are planning on using it for a long time, don't forget to get about 12 AA batteries, because you'll be running out of power really soon, yet you can use a rechargable one and here are some options
    • Only bad thing about this to me would be the fact that it's heavy
    • n’t illuminate the whole scene
    • Seems like I tighten it down as hard as I
    • well I like it
