Well, I have had the Nest Outdoor cam for about 3 month now

I have research left and right and finally find a cam that is reliable, easy to install and have functions that I can use daily.

Otherwise I love my nest cams.

We loved Nest Cam while the 30 day trial subscription was active.

Bought the outdoor version when it came available as I have the indoor cam and love it

I really love Nest cams but I wish they would put some more effort into improving their network reception

They are such an upgrade compared to the awful low def cams I had with ADT

As a result even if the person at the door can hear & understand you through the terrible Nest cam speakers (50/50 chance at best), their response will be cut off because they are talking while the system is still in the process of switching back to listening mode.

I use the Nest Cam in conjunction with my Google WiFi that I installed about a month prior, would recommend using a good WiFi device and having it near the NestCam, this is why a "Mesh" type WiFi works best, I have one of the Google WiFi pods situated near the camera ( in garage, camera outside)Overall, I would highly recommend the Nest Outdoor Cam, keep an eye out for rebates and sales!

The indoor Nest cam is not as good as the Drop Cam.

We bought this camera to view when our son makes it home from school, and to keep an eye on packages as well as when people come up our driveway

The zones alert when someone or thing are outside the zone parameters, as well as when movement is detected within zone parameters

First off, the camera video quality is very good in daylight as well as in darkened conditions.

We have a busy street in front of our house and the Ring Wireless Camera we tried first simply didn't work as it was constantly sending notifications every time a car went by.

Alerts work as they are advertised, camera helps with packages coming to the door or people coming over if they don’t knock on the door hard

this doesn’t bother me as that is what the cameras

The only thing that I worry about is that it is easy to steal as it is a magnetic housing.
