The biggest issue I've noticed thus far is the approximately 4 second delay between actual motion and when the motion is seen on my iPhone or computer.

While we enjoy the ability to monitor the house while we are out, the issue of video lag is getting worse every month

Considering how advanced audio/video technology is today, this is kind of a ridiculous issue to have on an otherwise awesome product.

Checked blogs and others have offline issues as well

From here, Nest basically ignored the issue, and a quick search reveals this is NOT an uncommon problem.

I suspect a heat issue as it occurs more often at night when the internal IR lights are on in the camera projecting outwards

I bought this camera to compliment my network security cameras and liked that it used the same app as my Nest thermostat (which I love), but after numerous attempts to get it to connect to my wifi and two hours of Nest Tech support, the issue remained unresolved and I requested a return and refund.

The units feel very durable and the quality of video when it is working is great, but the issues we had on the installation and the signal loss only give this 2 stars
