    • Ours came with a faulty power adapter.
    • Love the install process and that it's A/C powered - no messing with batteries
    • I have other cameras that are out of reach of criminals but do the facial ID work (and those specialized cameras have the triple benefit of being run on PoE, writing to an NVR hidden inside my house (on a UPS), and still being backed up in the cloud in real time (which means that even if the crooks cut power to my house, I'll still get an hour of great video evidence that they won't be able to get their hands on).
    • Took one star off for the bulky power cord
    • What I dislike is the power adapter being so big
    • Weird power connections seem like it would be easy to steal unless mounted high.
    • if it loses power it's ready to go once ppwer is restored
    • Excellent powered outside camera.
    • The other issue to consider is power - you need an outlet close to the installation location, or will be running an extension cord to it
    • I would much prefer the ability to use POE + Ethernet for a stable, powered, low fuss connection
    • I would much prefer the ability to use POE + Ethernet for a stable, powered, low fuss connection
    • installed 2 in less than an hour already had power source available
    • the Nest operator decided my current issues were caused by a defective power adaptor, which he offered to ship me for free which was very nice
    • I prefer the ac power over battery units that record only if they detect motion.
    • Every time we lose power the camera needs to be brought back in the house and re set up
    • (I hate the fat power cords, that I had to drill some big holes through my walls to get the UBS dongles through.)
    • Her picture never went out (we never lost power
    • Previous reviews have mentioned the annoying power cable setup with the large cylindrical USB connection on the power plug.
    • What Nest forgets to mention is that 1080 p is Available only when the WiFi Signal is very strong ( Modem in the Basement Camera on the 2nd Floor 1080p is Gone)
