I obtained a SIM card and added this device to my existing AT&T unlimited data plan with no problems whatsoever

I have used a Netgear Hotspot that I purchased from AT&T for a long time on my unlimited data plan.

Apparently "unlimited data" for these carriers is ONLY for phones, not stand-alone data devices, at least in these parts.

I have unlimited data with 20gb hotspot and after the 20gb its almost unusable

Put my AT&T Unlimited data sim in and it connected quickly and is rock solid

The only thing i have to say if you have tmobile they will put this on your account as a hotspot limiting the data

That's probably why my data has never been slowed to this point

It worked great with no problems, you just have to find the right data plan

They would not sell me a used device they had in stock without signing up with a new plan that didn not have unlimited data and 3x the price.

This should fix the billing and the ultra-slow data rate

The new unlimited plans don't allow these stand alone modems or hotspots with unlimited data.

AT&T is simply making an invalid excuse to collect (data mine) a "variety" of sensitive information on customers such that they can capitalize from the information by latter providing the sensitive data to other entities

it is a great lte router but the only thing that is vital is the alerts, when this goes into fail-over mode, this is very important to assist in monitoring lte data use.otherwise easy to setup on att data only plan at the att store.free sim card and added to the business share plan

the t-mobile free streaming only works if you use certain apps and not apple TV or internet browser.

I don't know why they seem to promote this as an AT&T device, but to those who claim this is not T-Mobile compatible, you are wrong
