    • My first router I’ve bought in a while and it worked out great for my gaming and internet needs.
    • The router was easy to set up In addition the speeds are fantastic and it even looks good on my desk
    • I love my Netgear Orbi router and other Netgear products, but I'm not real impressed with this CM1200 cable modem
    • You will need a router as well to set up WiFi
    • Very dissatisfied with this product but love my Netgear router
    • Great router and super easy to register with Comcast
    • It’s a great router and it works with Comcast
    • Sometimes your router (if it's a bit on the older side like mine) can cause further delay
    • Great router a huge step up from my previous
    • My old router which was a very strong coverage gaming router, was good, but this clearly outperforms it as well it should.
    • My old router which was a very strong coverage gaming router, was good, but this clearly outperforms it as well it should.
    • For the record the modem has done this for both my old wireless N router as well as my new Asus router
    • The router works fantastic with my Xfnity internet service
    • At least in my area (99206), xfinity does not support gigabit internet with docsis 3.0 routers
    • So much faster than my previous netgear router, did not realize how outdated my old router was till now, well worth the money.
    • Please note that a wireless router can also affect your speed; so invest in a high quality fast router to optimize you modem.
    • I brought it bacause my older router was not strong enough.
    • Which did not help at all since I had to spend more money to buy another router compatible with Xfinity through them.
    • I returned this item and purchased a modem router combo which is the Netgear N600, which works well and is easy to set up.
    • I bought this router specifically because it was recommended by multiple VPN services that said it was compatible
    • I paired the CM700-1AZNAS with an older unit Nighthawk AC1900 Smart WiFi Router.
    • They won't of course support your router!
    • In addition the router runs fairly cool, which a pleasant surprise after my last router which ran very hot
    • My only problem was connecting the wireless router
    • I wanted to love this modem/router, but it was simply not reliable.
    • Just upgrading my old router to this tripled my speed out of my old wifi router until I get a faster wireless router.
    • You'll still need a router, but even if you pay $100-120, you'll break even in a year or so
    • I reset the router and modem is working
    • Combine it with NetGear Smart WiFi Router with Dual Band (N6400, I think) for great results.
    • This is a nice router, very easy to install and does its job.
    • Understand that you will need a good router to transmit this speed out and even then you need a good wifi receiver or a hardwired cat 6 to a computer with a gigabit Ethernet card to get anything over 200 mbps.
    • Sadly, I has to goto Best Buy and buy the correct router that generates the WiFi signal ~ naturally it was 2x the cost but had to get it done while xfinity installer verified the access of Wifi.
    • Definitely recommend this router if you want exceptional WiFi in your home.
    • I love the router and modem I bought from NETGEAR
    • Conclusion: Great router if you have a big WiFi area to cover and have one of the listed cable ISP providers that's charging you a monthly modem fee.
    • That is a huge design flaw in an otherwise beautiful router.
    • Our house has several smart products which our previous router was unable to handle all of our devices seamlessly
    • Overall a fine router, which I am happy to recommend.
    • Be aware, my router would need to be reset everyday since signals would drop on its own everyday, It's great when it's working properly but reset everyday is really annoying.
    • I bought this modem and a new faster Netgear router.
    • Threw it in, conected the Netgear X router, works great!

    • Netgear is my favorite router manufacturer for reliability
    • (Happily, routers aren't nearly as expensive as are gateways.)As a modem, it performs flawlessly
    • Awesome router
    • I would recommend this to anyone looking for the best router out there.
    • Prompty returned the defective router.
    • cheap router/modem they give
    • Dumped my Comcast router and its $15/mo charge.
    • The only issue was the cable company they had this product listed on there web site as a compatible router yet still had to call them to get it to work.
    • Now if only I could get my router to be this stable...
    • You will need a router as well
    • If you are paying for a VPN service through your VPN capable router like the ASUS
    • This router works great with all my devices and sets up quickly and very easily.
    • A wonderful router that delivers all that it promises seamlessly.
    • So ended up buying Smart Router and this modem and installation were just plug in and connect to my Xfinity app to activate it
    • I would recommend that if you like the security of using a VPN for surfing, banking etc, and like to stream HD video content on your TV's, Video devices etc, to set up two routers
    • This router was great
    • I called Netgear support and they said I had To purchase technical support....for the router even though the router is a non issue...not good free customer service like Alexa or Ecobee
    • After trying a couple of other options, I found this as the best alternative to the Comcast router, for three reasons:1) stop paying 10 bucks a month for renting Comcast Xfinity router2) stop having an insecure and low performance router and WiFi3) this modem works beautifully with super high speed Comcast cable and a set of Google WiFi and Eero mesh network
    • Worst product and support ever, didn't work with my current router and they blamed the router
    • Did have to buy a router as it didn't have built in wifi, but still happy.
    • I love my Nighthawk router, but Netgear needs to go back to drawing board if they want to stay in the modem business
    • You must use a router (available separately) to handle the usual networking functions in your home or office
    • This is a good router with excellent coverage and very good speeds in my tests.
    • I love my Netgear AC 1200 smart WiFi Router
    • Plugged it up and called xfinity to have it activated and its faster than that crappy router that I rented from them
    • If you spend the money on this modem AND even more to get a good wireless router, it will take many years to offset the $13 per month that Comcast charges you to lease their wireless gateway
    • Love both my Netgear Modem and Router
    • It is fairly expensive as routers
    • I think the cable companies just use cheap routers.
    • BEHOLD, my friends, the miracle - as our router RISES FROM THE DEAD, and works flawlessly as it always had before
    • I originally tried a combo modem router thinking it would be easier but this modem could not have been easier to setup and attaching the router a breeze.

    • I like the router because of its strength.
    • Note my router was NETGEAR R6700 Nighthawk AC1750 Dual Band Smart WiFi Router, Gigabit Ethernet (R6700)
    • I have a Google WiFi (3) and did not want to use bulky Comcast cable modem/router
    • Make sure you also have a compatible router, as this is just a cable modem
    • I have always used a cheaper router before thinking my house was too small to justify the expense of a better router, I was wrong.
    • At first I was hesitant due to the reviews, but the router has been reliable with NO dropped connections since installing it a month ago
    • N750 router, we're very happy!
    • You're better off getting a cheaper router if you do not have gigabit or you have to get a more expensive docsis 3.1 gigabit router
    • Not sure if I need a better wireless router or I need to tweak some settings
    • Also replaced an old slow WiFi router at same time
    • (NETGEAR R6700 Nighthawk AC1750 Dual Band Smart WiFi Router, Gigabit Ethernet (R6700) ) fixed our internet problems
    • My tech guy said the Netgear modems and routers are the best, so I upgraded my one 1 year old cable modem / wireless router to the Netgear CM700 and Nighthawk AC1900 Smart WiFi Router
    • The router obviously still kind of works but definitely not reliably
    • Great router easy install good Help Desk.
    • I highly recommend the Nighthawk routers, they
    • If you splurge on anything, a decent modem and router should be on your list.
    • If you are looking for a VPN compatible router get the Linksys instead
    • This is likely my last Netgear purchase as my previous router was a Netgear and it died after 1 year.
    • One note - if you also have Xfinity Home Security, you’ll likely need them to provide a “secure” wireless router (free of charge) in order to get that back online
    • I received a message at the end that Spectrum does not support this modem router!
    • Nice router no issues
    • works well for couple of weeks since installation; had good experience with all netgear items before; i think my router is almost 9 years old and working well!
    • Love my new netgear modem and router
    • THIS system...the CBK40... also works very well and makes for a cleaner installation as it replaces the modem as well as the router
    • This isn't a recommendation against netgear, many netgear routers don't have this issue, and other manufacturers used this bad chipset as well
    • So this router is great for internet only, but if your service provider does your phones too, do not buy.
    • The BEST router - not all routers are created equal.
    • Router completely died with only one week of use
    • I purchased a Netgear CM600 High Speed Cable Modem and a Nighthawk AC2300 Smart WiFi Router just over 3 months ago
    • The price was a bit higher than I wanted but so far seems like a solid router, no issues getting the Gigabit speed.
    • Remember it doesn't have WIFI so get a good router with it
    • The router obviously still kind of works but definitely not reliably
    • Like the router.
    • This modem (+ my trusty Netgear router that I've had for about 3 years) has worked great for me, even with my very average internet service.
    • I could have sworn I read the description very carefully to make sure that this would work as my cable modem and router.
    • searched for 1 gig capable routers
    • cycle). With Netgear, I have never had any of their devices last more than 2 years--including their expensive Nighthawk router that costs nearly $400.
    • This modem (+ my trusty Netgear router that I've had for about 3 years) has worked great for me, even with my very average internet service.
    • Went with the NetGear Smart WiFi Router.
    • I have always used a cheaper router before thinking my house was too small to justify the expense of a better router, I was wrong.
    • This could be an isolated case, but now I much prefer separate individual modem and router.
    • n’t disappoint either
    • n’t support there 500 Mbps speed.
    • (works fine on my cheap T-Mobile hotspot).
    • n’t had issues with fluctuating signal, and I believe this is our magic fix
    • DPC3941T did!So far so good!
    • n’t had any problems at all.
