My first router I’ve bought in a while and it worked out great for my gaming and internet needs.

The router was easy to set up In addition the speeds are fantastic and it even looks good on my desk

For the record the modem has done this for both my old wireless N router as well as my new Asus router

At least in my area (99206), xfinity does not support gigabit internet with docsis 3.0 routers

Combine it with NetGear Smart WiFi Router with Dual Band (N6400, I think) for great results.

This is a nice router, very easy to install and does its job.

Understand that you will need a good router to transmit this speed out and even then you need a good wifi receiver or a hardwired cat 6 to a computer with a gigabit Ethernet card to get anything over 200 mbps.

Sadly, I has to goto Best Buy and buy the correct router that generates the WiFi signal ~ naturally it was 2x the cost but had to get it done while xfinity installer verified the access of Wifi.

Definitely recommend this router if you want exceptional WiFi in your home.

Conclusion: Great router if you have a big WiFi area to cover and have one of the listed cable ISP providers that's charging you a monthly modem fee.

That is a huge design flaw in an otherwise beautiful router.

Our house has several smart products which our previous router was unable to handle all of our devices seamlessly

Be aware, my router would need to be reset everyday since signals would drop on its own everyday, It's great when it's working properly but reset everyday is really annoying.

The only issue was the cable company they had this product listed on there web site as a compatible router yet still had to call them to get it to work.

This router works great with all my devices and sets up quickly and very easily.

So ended up buying Smart Router and this modem and installation were just plug in and connect to my Xfinity app to activate it

I would recommend that if you like the security of using a VPN for surfing, banking etc, and like to stream HD video content on your TV's, Video devices etc, to set up two routers
