All this positive reviews that you can see here - this people do not know how it suppose to work so they think it is working if you can see say 2-3 bars

I had read the reviews and saw others who have had this problem and didn't get any help, but foolish

So why the mediocre review

After reading the negative reviews I purchased this anyway because it was really needed in our home.

I was contacted directly by Netgear and was sent this product for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review

prior review was an error and for a different product.

If that is true then I will retract my review.

I say this because there are a lot of bad reviews for this Netgear Extender

I have read about half of the bad reviews, and though it is unfortunate, I see that most, if not all, are due to user error, and nothing else, except for very poor customer service help from Netgear Support

Considering that this extender should work with ANY router, as the packaging says, and the MANY negative reviews citing unclear instructions and installation difficulty, i can only assume that these must be fake reviews from competitors or there are simply a lot more people out there who don't know how to read and follow incredibly simple and straightforward instructions than i had ever realized

I was a little frustrated considering this product has such good review and thinking that for this price must be a decent

This is the only bad review I've ever written.

Most of the people writing negative reviews claim that they tried for hours to get their extender to work, sitting on hold with troublesome foreign call center support, but if you just read the instructions, and use the most basic of common sense, the setup process will be incredibly quick and easy

8/24/14So far I've been using this wifi extender for about 3 days, and it has exceeded my expectations, especially considering the many negative reviews I read before purchasing

This is my first negative review and I write it solely to warn others who might be inclined to buy the product, without fully understanding the risks apparently inherent in the warranty.

I was worried about the large number or bad reviews

Based on a review by the top review here with the video I purchased this and am very happy.
