Which sucks because I been loyal to Netgear for over a decade and their new products (this and the R8500) really suck

I can not recommend this product and I regret the purchase.

If you have ax devices in hand, this product MIGHT be worth the price

The setup of the device was simple as with all Netgear products and the features of the device is excellent

Netgear support was OK - long hold times (due to Covid) coupled with disconnects forcing me back into the queue exacerbated the issue, and having to pay for shipping on a defective product within the warranty period is just unprofessional, let alone to have that second unit died in under a week

Netgear introduced the product around November 2018 and mine died in early June 2020, so it lasted at most about 19 months

I would not recommend this product for a price ($220).

They told me they could kick me up to engineers who could render the product defective somehow and that they would send me replacements, but the product wasn't defective, it was simply not capable of doing the job it was suppose to

I would recommend this product to others and think while it’s great it is really meant for those pushing the limits of their ISP’s service via gaming, multiple concurrent connected devices, extreme and often occurring downloading or uploading

I came to this conclusion through reviews I read, netgear's product description as well as the premium price I paid for it
