Super great speeds connected all my 30 smart home devices!!

My family uses a lot of devices all at the same time plus several smart home devices that are only going to increase

It helps keep our smart home connected by giving us more control over how our internet access is allocated

I like this new router, very fast especially when having so many smart home devices.

I have a smart home with over 60 devices and absolutely need the wifi to be working

Easy setup, easy to use, App works great and gets the job done.

Netgear customer support has always been atrocious because of the 90 day phone support but their software developers are even more worse than that

When you buy a device, part of that cost is customer support

Tech support is the worst they want you to pay for support before they will honor your 1 year device warranty talk about SCAMING the consumer.....DONT BUY NETGEAR!

I've now wasted hours with amazon and netgear tech support

Tried the forums and factory reset before calling Netgear tech support.

Tried to work with Netgear tech support but was too difficult to call and talk with them.

As soon as the free tech support expired, the thing up and DIED

The set up was easy and the entire house has bandwidth everywhere

The set up was straightforward, and I invested a lot of time connecting all my devices including thermostats, door bells, alexa's, tvs, a printer, i-robots, my sonos system, extenders, etc.

Tried to force me to go thru an unnecessary set of protocols, when it was a fairly simple issue

And, the app cannot connect to the router, the interface is not as good as the google’s

Change any single irrelevant setting and you have to wait for a minute until the router applies all the setting

Replace my Modem / Router with the Nighthawk, and its much better coverage.

Extremely easy setup and flawless connection with great coverage across my house.

Previously had trouble getting coverage in my multi floor home, we always had trouble with the WiFi dropping out and no signal areas

I have better coverage through out my house and my streaming service are working great.

We're not talking about inadequate range or download speeds; we're talking about repeating total loss of internet

The router has a great range and the performance is by far great!

The range on this router is incredible and the speed it provides even at great distances is over and above the expectations!

It had a strong Wi-Fi signal, but no internet connection

The signal is consistently strong and we have had no problem.

It is very good when using more than 30 devices and the signal is very strong.

For now, I'm going to hold out hope that there's some kind of firmware update coming soon to fix the terrible inconsistencies and brief, but unacceptable signal dropouts

But the reality is the router is SLOW and drops signal like crazy

The router is able to handle multiple devices while still delivering fast internet speeds

I use multiple devices in my house the max speed I get it around 560-600 average which is pretty good speeds

Over the last 6 months, the router has given numerous issues.. slow wifi speeds, unreliable connection and recently the wifi stops working every day

As soon as I installed the generic router again, I achieved great speeds again.

Easy to install and the app is great for managing your WiFi!

the app for setting this up is incredibly user friendly

The mobile app makes it easy to adjust and monitor the router.

The mobile app to set it up could use some work, its not intuitive and some advanced settings are hidden in places you wouldn't expect them to be.

(minus I hate the app stuff I miss the old school hook into it and setup) but times change and you adapt

If your considering a wi-fi 6 router and don't have wifi 6 devices this product is great.

I have finally put an end to our intermittent WiFi in the house

Handles a lot of smart devices and all of my other connected devices very well

Previously I had to reboot my smart devices multiple times a week along with my router for things to work properly

If your older device is slow it that is the fast it will go.

That said, This device was an absolute nightmare to set up

I had really bad issues with this router when it came to data prioritization

I had to factory reset the router several times and update firmware to try to rectify connectivity issues, but problems continued to persist

During COVID, my company has extended the work from home structure so I have become overly reliant on WiFi working and working well

Our internet is still working b/c we are able to still use our Comcast that comes in without any problem

NETGEAR is a terrible company with the WORST customer service

Horrible company policy, and the way of dealing with customers.(I do have to say that the customer support is great, if you pay for it.)

Were supposed to be twice as fast download time as my other unit

wifi speed, then connect to back of router and test speed, wasting my time.

I was losing my connection all the time even with extenders.

But I lose my internet 2 or 3 times a day (and today, when I'm writing this, it failed 4 times), requiring a reboot each time, and making the unit totally unreliable.

I read online that many others experience the same problem - some having to restart multiple times a day as well.

I made the adjustments that were recommended as well as updated the firmware, but nothing helped

After researching, I found there are inherent security holes in the Netgear firmware, especially because the firmware is not secure

I had to downgraded the firmware to the previous one which was released last year

Call netgear again and they blame me for letting the router update to unsupported firmware

I am moving on to TP-Link which is even more affordable for the same features with actual working products and firmware updates

I have to do a hard reset then use my phone to set it up as new all over again

IPs don’t refresh and connection type on some devices show as wired when

really works well, 5g speeds are the same as wired

I have a hard wired connection from the modem to this router and then to my PC

My hard wired PC internet speeds are now the best it can be, but not 3Gbps.

So, in order to fix the issue, I first call verizon fios who sends a technician to my house, costing me money, and they deem everything fine in their diagnosis of the modem and router using the hard wire

I bought this product to replace the dlink dir-855L that I had that was having trouble initiating my port forwarding settings

Moreover the path to my internal file server (a QNAP TVS-882BR) sped up as the new router supports port aggregation.

The Ethernet port on the router though is completely touchy and does not always work

This product seems to have no problem using its port forwarding, but it still seems to be creating some kind of lag within the network somewhere

And Finally the router shows devices connected through incorrect ports and IP addresses, and requires constant rebooting.

With the Covid-19 and having kids studying from home and me an my wife working from home, we needed are more strong and reliable wifi connection covering the whole house, with no weak spots

Have a 2600 sq ft home and no dead spots and easy to setup within minutes

my old netgear had blind spots in my house this one i get

We replaced an old netgear router, which had dead spots and had slowed down in general (it was 7 years old)

I installed this to expand wifi coverage to a dead zone in our house

No dead zones or constant losses of connectivity as compared to the LinkSys router it replaced.

always shows "couldn't find the IP Address"... terrible!

and I know I have tried everything except getting a static IP to fix the issue.

The attached device look up is completely wrong displaying wrong ip per device, it has issues updating the address list
