Reviews around home (5.00 of 5)

  • But there are still performance and cost advantages to setting up traditional access points and routers for modern homes
  • The tether app even provides lot of cool features such as sharing WiFi, Guest WiFi, QR code generation, LED control ( have you ever felt that your router LEDs disturb you in midnight).I’m happy about my purchase but update the review in future after few months of usage.
  • Lower performance routers such as the TP-Link AC1200 still have a place in well connected homes
  • My home is small under 1500 Square feet and it works well for my home
  • Having trouble with my updated AT&T router to connect with my smart home devices

Reviews around wifi (3.18 of 5)

  • Good Router if your speeds are not over 100 Mbps due to the 10/100 WAN LAN Limitation, if you are paying for speeds over 100 Mbps from your Internet Service Provider, you will no get anything over 105 Mbps with this router on your wired systems, the TpLink Archer A6 offers Stronger WiFi signals, Gigabit WAN/ LAN Ports and also offers Beam-forming technology for wider wireless coverage
  • Now that I am teleworking, it's very important to have good wifi
  • I tried technical support, restarted-rebooted everything by myself as well- wifi and even ethernet speed was 90-93 mbps
  • After doing google search, I found that most of cable modem+wifi routers have this issue and it can be eliminated when you use separate faster wifi router
  • Good quality, the WiFi is stable, I changed my old $200 router for this one, I don't see the difference.

  • it is cheap but gives great speed and ease of usage.
  • If you'll ever need more than mediocre internet speed buy something else.
  • No one cares about some invisible "negotiating" speed!!
  • Super fast speeds at very cheap price.
  • So despite the fact that this is advertised as AC1200, its speeds are limited by the wired speed limit of 100Mbps.

  • I have to give this the worst review .
  • Maybe lemon but my review of the unit that I got.
  • I would probably return for another budget option or spend $10 for an "upgrade" but I've found, in general, that reviews for any non-high end router are useless to follow but you can say that about 99% of Amazon reviews, possibly including this one
  • Please listen to the bad reviews on this router.
