TP-Link AC1200 WiFi Router (Archer A5) - Dual Band Wireless Internet Router, 4 x 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Ports, Supports Guest WiFi, Access Point Mode, IPv6 and Parental Controls

    • Using ethernet cable is fine; my speed was good
    • Horrible internet speed with this router
    • No one cares about some invisible "negotiating" speed!!
    • I started noticing sustained slow speeds on the 2.4 Ghz connection, around 1 Mbps, that would not recover to expected speed.5Ghz connection worked great
    • The speed is bad not good
    • Super fast speeds at very cheap price.
    • All produced the same intermittently slow speeds on the 2.4 Ghz connection
    • The speed is faster than my old router—which was a 5 year TP Link
    • , I connect this router and the speed drops to under 5 Mbps, the signal is great but the speed is terrible.
    • I bought this router to do bridge mode with my modem combo because it didn't have 5ghz, which killed my wifi speeds
    • So despite the fact that this is advertised as AC1200, its speeds are limited by the wired speed limit of 100Mbps.
    • The other problem is the speed slows the longer you use it
    • it is cheap but gives great speed and ease of usage.
    • If you'll ever need more than mediocre internet speed buy something else.
