I have been using a hotspot that I purchased from Verizon, as they are my wireless carrier, and often had trouble getting signal in areas that I get great signal on my phone
-
I use this for my home internet and connected another wireless router to boost my signal
-
DSL.Setup was pretty easy and painless, and I had it up and running pretty quicklyHowever it consistently bounced between poor/no signal and good
-
Until that day, I'd advise all rural cellular users with poor cell signal coverage to buy a MOFI4500 instead!Folks, if you doubt what I'm say, then head over to my YouTube channel "Weaver Cattle Company" where I demonstrate that the MOFI4500 is the superior product for rural cellular users with poor cell signal coverage!

So far I've successfully used this combination of Netgear MR1100 + Google Fi to seamlessly get a strong wifi signal in Sweden, Denmark, UK, and USA
-
Great signal
-
Can't think of a dislike except where I live I could use a stronger signal, but that's where I live.
-
so signal can get pretty spotty) and even with that I've peaked at around 50 mbps on good days
-
Good 4G LTE signal (AT&T)
-
I added an antenna via the two connections and placed the unit according to the strongest signal in my home as determined by free LTE signal analysis apps on Google play
-
Even if you could get a good signal (rarely), when everyone was home in the evenings or a rainy day, there was no bandwidth available.
-
Here's the deal, this cellular router/modem is only good for those who already have decent cell signal coverage already.
-
Only wish I knew of a good reputable antenna to use with it and maybe get a slightly stronger signal from my ISP
-
Better signal strength and reception.
-
I get a strong enough signal and speed to be able to stream on a two devices simultaneously
-
I told him neather AT&T or Verizon were very strong signals
-
It provides a solid and reliable signal to the cell network.
-
We never lost signal in my car
-
I do not like that if I walk 5 feet away from my hotspot, the signal goes weak or drops
-
Great signal all the time, and everything connects without any issues.
-
THIS WORKED but you need to have decent phone signal (we have 2 to 3 bars consistently).
-
I put it in a different window and noticed it got a better signal there
-
So if you are getting this device for a large building, you may want to consider some kind of WiFi repeater to attach for more reasonable signal strength.
-
ts9 adapters and the cables to run it all together still no greater signal than 2 bars...after I couldn't resolve the issue myself I once again called NETGEAR Support
-
I have been using a hotspot that I purchased from Verizon, as they are my wireless carrier, and often had trouble getting signal in areas that I get great signal on my phone
-
I just sat it near a window to make sure I can get a good signal (most days just 2 to 3 bars) and I can enjoy speeds around 30 Mbps
-
Even with a slow signal it runs 7 devices that I need.
-
You might need to get an antenna to get the best signal
-
Seems to pick up better signal.
-
Great signal.
-
If I'm somewhere where the signal is weaker, where download speeds are ~60 Mbps, I don't see this problem
-
We have it with AT&T and our signal isn’t as strong as I
-
I know SpaceX and Amazon are starting to implement satellite based internet, 5G can kill these technologies as well as cable based providers
-
Want this mobile hotspot router so bad until I found out it has no band 17 and that’s what my carrier in my country use as 4G LTE band 17 so sad 😞
-
Good 4G LTE signal (AT&T)
-
Product works fine in home setting, but I needed it for having good connection on the road, after 2 months of testing I came to conclusion that this product sucks as that it is a mobile hot shot
-
Since this device is able to create a mobile hotspot it is useful to use with smart phones and tablets if you don't want to use your mobile data on those devices as well as with laptops.
-
I give both Amazon & NETGEAR support an A+ for the extra
