I live out in the country and getting a 4G AT&T unlimited data plan was the only way I could get decent internet out here

Very easy setup,i set it up near window and gained 1bar of signal stregnth.

I first used it with T-Mobile, no problem

It was T-Mobile friendly (my cellular carrier) and I was super excited

Also allows for a guest connection.-full GUI for easy setup-Gigabit

I have had this for 7 months and it overheats and stops working until it cools down

The router works great, had to buy an external antenna because of my ranch house and the AT&T reception

The Nighthawk is easy to login, it works as advertised, I like it.

Want this mobile hotspot router so bad until I found out it has no band 17 and that’s what my carrier in my country use as 4G LTE band 17 so sad 😞

I know SpaceX and Amazon are starting to implement satellite based internet, 5G can kill these technologies as well as cable based providers

I found out the unlimited non throttled hotspot plans had important limits in terms of service

Since this device is able to create a mobile hotspot it is useful to use with smart phones and tablets if you don't want to use your mobile data on those devices as well as with laptops.

However, gamers beware the double NAT will likely be a problem.

This is a known issue and apparently they have not corrected it yet.

There's a common known issue on this device that lot's of people are experiencing, where you can't use the device because as soon as it detects a new login to the router, it restarts making it unusable.

This is a known issue with the Nighthawk MR1100 that Netgear seems unwilling or, more likely, unable to fix

but then it started with the known issue, CONTINUOUS RESTARTS.
