    • I can say Netgear has great tech support and they care about their products and customers.
    • Tech support through Netgear is a nightmare and now some products they charge an outlandish amount for
    • I contacted Netgear's tech support and they acted like they've never heard of the issue.
    • so I got on the phone to the free tech support
    • The bigger story (to me) is the free tech support for the first month
    • Netgear refuses to check router for problems or honor one year warranty unless I pay them a tech support fee to check the device.
    • Tech support was outstanding as well.
    • The tech support both in the written documentation and via phone is terrible
    • Called Netgear tech support and they wanted me to purchase a service contract to fix the device
