Would strongly recommend this router to anybody with WiFi range/connection issues in their home.

I've added a wired Netgear AP (EX7000) plus a few other devices via LAN and wifi and have not experienced the 2.4g band dropped data connection issue at all

I have had absolutely no connection issues either wired or wireless with my Apple products, and of course my Windows PCs connect just fine

Had two Linksys AC4000's that kept having connection issues.

OR if I disable the network power savings feature on the devices (better option!), then I do not experience the dropped connection issue above

Considering it is so much easier to have WiFi than to cable your home with ethernet plugs, this can be very useful for a family with very good (25+ Mbit/s) internet and owning lots of devices (phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops) accessing the internet simultaneously
