The smart band feature was actually worse
-
One nice feature on this router over many older netgear routers is that it has a "Smart connect" feature which allows the router to choose the right wireless frequency to use for the device that is connecting
-
Great security features
-
I have tried disabling features, IPV6, MU-MIMO, PORT FORWARDING, every option I could find disabled same results
-
the 2.4 & 5ghz Banda was great, except on just about most forums and per tech support, this feature is recommended to be turned off to alleviate several of the issues.
-
iPhone app is a great feature, and it has Alexa enabled controls as well
-
With such great features as Mu-Mimo, beam forming, and air time fairness, I thought these would be ON by DEFAULT, but this is not the case
-
Great features and easy interface for customizing it for your home.
-
Overall an extremely easy to setup router with abundant features to suit most home user's needs
-
It has great features and stable wired and wifi connection to all my devices
-
systems-1 Apple HomePod-4 Alexa enabled devices-1 RingPro doorbellPros:-6 configurable range antennas (this router did provide the greater range I initially needed)-Supports MU-MIMO (which would be bad ass, if any devices were even equipped to take advantage of this feature)-Great and user friendly, application for router management.-A ton of web interface
-
The Network map is a great added feature so you can see what devices are online and connected to your network.
-
I couldn't be happier, and with the smart control feature that determines what wireless items are on what banc, it automatically designates other items to the second band that isn't being used.
-
The best and most important feature is it's streaming capabilities.
-
That, in of itself, is a great feature.
-
The “smart” feature allows the router to ensure all applications are running at top speed
-
It fails at even the most basic functions of a WiFi router, let alone the fancy features they referenced on the side of the box, then shipped at pre-alpha code quality levels
-
are many more annoying features and I am definitely not enjoying the Netgear experience.
-
Also, currently I am using the "smart connect" feature which combines all three bands under a single SSID
-
A little research showed that the newest ASUS tri-bands are a couple of years old while Netgear is releasing new Routers such as the X6S with impressive CPU and wireless features at the same price point.
-
It is missing some huge features like the ability to act as a Repeater or Access Point.
-
This Router has other good features like Alexa compatibility, Link Aggregation, great Parental Control but without the most basic features in a consistent performance level, the advance features have no use.
-
It's a REALLY nice feature
-
While this router contains many nice features, I would not buy it again and don't recommend it.
-
I haven't even used all of the fancy features of this router, but it significantly improved the reach of our wifi network in the house
-
If you have a NAS, one of the coolest features (in my opinion) is this router's ability to bridge and aggregate channels.
-
A+++.One of my favorite design features of this new router is the low and wide profile / footprint with six pre-attached folding antennas.
-
Product boasts a feature rich/packed router, but fails to live up to it’s own hype.
-
As with our last Netgear router, we found that this has a very easy set up
-
n’t get any lag I love it!
