NETGEAR Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri-band WiFi Router, Gigabit Ethernet, MU-MIMO, Compatible with Amazon Echo/Alexa (R8000P)

    • No solutions found on the Netgear support site.
    • Netgear was very friendly with customer service and they provided a new one free of charge quickly by mail
    • The web interface is like all other modern netgear routers I have used and I was able to quickly configure my wireless and other network settings
    • NETGEAR support site is packed with complaints about this problem, but there has not been a real solution.
    • In a year I'm sure Netgear will have it all worked
    • Netgear will not honor their warranty policy.
    • Netgear gives you a hard to read snapshot that refreshes, very little value.- I've assigned static IP addresses to DHCP for many devices however the devices do not seem to ever get assigned the static IP address.
    • and NetGear should provide tech support for longer than 3 months too
    • We trust Netgear
    • I will never buy any other brand but Netgear and I highly recommend Netgear.
    • Bought this router in hopes that netgear had fixed the reset issues
    • Great job as usual Netgear
    • NETGEAR support was unable to resolve (and was pretty useless).I purchased this router to support my very high speed Google internet (300mbps up/down), replacing a 5 year old NETGEAR router that worked reliably
    • I read the reviews on Amazon and the Netgear support site and they all complained of the routers performance, mainly dropping the internet, requiring a reboot to make it broadcast again
    • Netgear has also very limited support hours which do not accommodate people that work.
    • after going thru 3 routers in 2 year a friend recommended Netgear
    • Netgear gives you a hard to read snapshot that refreshes, very little value.- I've assigned static IP addresses to DHCP for many devices however the devices do not seem to ever get assigned the static IP address.
    • I suggest avoiding this device and Netgear for not supporting their products.7/11/2018 update -Netgear did update my warranty support after I responded to their request in the comment
    • After much research and time spent going through online support, found support number 888-NETGEAR.
    • When we contacted netgear's "customer support", i was told (in a thick indian accent..) that to continue providing support for this 300$ brick, i would have to pay MORE money
    • What I always appreciate about Netgear is the ease of use in terms of the user interface
    • so after doing some research I have discovered that Netgear has a hardware issue with these
    • Replacement came and I noticed no real difference between my much cheaper old netgear router
    • Netgear is not honoring any warranty even though the device was sold by Amazon which is listed as a Netgear authorized seller.
    • I love my Netgear.
    • Very easy to set up, especially the Netgear GINIE, very user friendly
    • I contacted the Netgear support team, I opened a case for them to replace it, fix it, or just take it back... nothing
    • I love the dedication netgear has provided me all these years and proud to purchase another one of their top products
    • and I had optimized the router for my network and am seeing the benefits of this remarkable Netgear router
    • n’t get any lag I love it!
    • I wanted to upgrade though in the hope I could get a better 5-G signal and speeds in my kitchen where I frequently use my laptop
    • Great coverage (in 2400sf home) and easy installation, especially after struggling with a Asus Wireless AC3100 Gigabit Router (RT-AC3100) that was horrible (defective 5G).
    • This router is great with the MIMO and also to place all the transmissions under one name of the name of the router 5g or so forth.
    • Excellent coverage and fastest speeds on 5G-2
    • As with our last Netgear router, we found that this has a very easy set up
