My smart TV was not real keen on the new network, and it took several attempts to get my Smart TV and this system to talk to each other.

I truly think that Netgear has the best system on the market today.

Trying to do it from the Orbi app before I flashed the firmware was what initially crashed the system and sent me on the wild goose chase hunting down a full solution to the problems I was experiencing

The system works absolutely great about 80% of the time

This is an EXCELLENT wi-fi mesh system for home or business.

While the community support was happening I realized the system was worse than I though as my Samsung Galaxy s6 starts throwing authentication errors, my Roku's start dropping TV streams, and my wife's laptop has connection issues.

I really like this netgear system

FLASH the firmware to the most recent version as soon as you have confirmed that the system is working, and before you connect any Ethernet devices.

Both are great systems for larger areas and can be expanded with multiple satellites.

I have installed the latest firmware and up to this point the system has been rock solid reliable

you have heavy internet usage and a lot of space to cover, I can't imagine a better system.

This system is honestly amazing

I've discovered that if one particular Orbi satellite is rebooted while using ethernet backhaul, it jams the whole system up and everything grinds to a complete halt and nothing works.

Now this particular system is really a little too expensive for home use BECAUSE it really is aimed at the small business (offices and motels) market

Great WiFi system

Despite some complains about instability after the latest FW upgrade, my system is extremely stable so far.

This system works through my concrete maze South Florida house like a charm

I’m used to seeing some sign of life from a flashing LED or such on a router, so this threw me for a loop until I found a forum entry that suggested it was fine and the system wasn’t defective.

I can highly recommend the Orbi system.

Naturally, the system is a little more complicated to setup than a single router, but well worth the hour or two you might spend coming up to speed on it.
