When you move over your house, your device will try to stay connected (with poor speeds) to the first Access Point it found and will only disconnect and try to find a new one when it completely loses signal

I had used an Apple Airport, which provided great speed, but limited range.

It's pricier than the products it replaces, but the speed and range make it worth the extra cost.

Speed is sufficient to handle multiple device including AppleTVs, laptops and phones
