Great WiFi coverage, but the app has a lot to be desired.
It can come in handy if you need to put it somewhere where there isn't a shelf to get better coverage.
Add to that, these are beautiful units you won't mind displaying; and the wall mounts (purchased separately) only seem to improve the coverage and esthetics.

This product solved my problem, which was to get a sufficiently strong wifi connection to my outdoor woodworking shop, on one side of our home, and an elevator on the extreme other side of our home.

Speed is sufficient to handle multiple device including AppleTVs, laptops and phones
When you move over your house, your device will try to stay connected (with poor speeds) to the first Access Point it found and will only disconnect and try to find a new one when it completely loses signal
It's pricier than the products it replaces, but the speed and range make it worth the extra cost.
I had used an Apple Airport, which provided great speed, but limited range.
