NETGEAR Orbi Whole Home Mesh WiFi System - WiFi router and 2 satellite extenders with speeds up to 2.2 Gbps over 6,000 sq. feet, AC2200 (RBK23)

    • The result is great coverage in all areas of the house, and with effectively 4 access points, no weak signal areas
    • Signal was spotty with the hub upstairs by the router, but now it is in the basement next to the satellite, and signal is perfect!I completed the entire setup with a laptop rather than the mobile phone app
    • The house is now blanketed in uniform and strong signal WiFi.
    • I even tried extenders, but could never get a decent signal in the back bedroom
    • Strong WiFi Signal.
    • I tried two different extenders that improved the signal in some areas but neither really provided the speed I desired.
    • I placed the satellites on the far ends of the house, and they connected with good signal and just extend the range of the existing network
    • I have an XBOX One far away from my main router that I am not able to get wired ethernet to and it finally has a strong signal and low ping times in games
    • I get strong signal everywhere and love that I can see all connected devices, which router they are connected to, the MAC address, and the strength of the signal at that device.
    • I have great signal on both floors
    • My home is now covered with a strong signal.
    • You couldn't walk from one room to another without loosing the signal.
    • Our Ring video doorbell finally has a strong enough wifi signal!
    • The 3-unit RBK23 covers the entire building with ease and also projects a strong signal into our
    • But after completely setting up, I keep loosing signal to the satellites
    • The far side of the house has extremely weak WiFi signals, regardless of which router I used
    • I was happy to see that the coverage was just as good, and that the throughput was about 1-2% better in the strongest signal areas
    • I was experiencing dead spots in the house and had troubles switching over from 5g to 2g where it wouldn't change when signal was weak.
    • In order to cover my house with solid WiFi signal, I had to have two of the AEB and connect them with the CAT6 in order to prevent the loss in speed that would have resulted from using wireless extension mode
    • This way, I have perfect signal all over the house, as well as in the garage and driveway
    • Signal was spotty with the hub upstairs by the router, but now it is in the basement next to the satellite, and signal is perfect!I completed the entire setup with a laptop rather than the mobile phone app

    • They provide you a quick guide as well as diagrams where it makes sense to place within your home for the best overall signal range
    • I had plenty of dead spots, sketchy signal in other areas, and throughput was overall weak
    • (That said, sometimes a device will drop connection for a few seconds - I think that may be associated with times when a mobile device that initially connects to one node is moved to another part of the house, where it may disconnect and reconnect to a new node that now is closer and has a stronger signal.)3
    • Needed a better wifi signal in my new house, this fit the bill and was not too expensive.

    • While not necessary for basic function, I opted to set Static IP’s for our “core” devices (things that reside on the network 100% of the time)
    • This way, I have perfect signal all over the house, as well as in the garage and driveway
