Dependable, constant amazing wifi

We have Century Link as our ISP and used there cheap modem/router combo and got terrible wifi speeds around the house, I'm talking ~15mbps (or worse in the basement) when paying for 40mbs wired speeds

my 20 month old Netgear AC1900 R7000 Nighthawk because the WiFi On/Off switch had stopped working leaving the WiFi in the OFF position.

This is a fantastic wifi router I have a big 2 story house and am running 5x5 throughout

For most situations this is probably ok and will keep people from forgetting to setup a secure wifi

My one suggestion is this: No matter what kind of network set-up you are connecting this R6400 router to, IF YOUR WiFi CAPABLE DEVICES ARE 5G CAPABLE, you REALLY WILL BE best suited, from ALL standpoints, by using the 5G WiFi connectivity supplied by this router
