NETGEAR WiFi AC1200 Range Extender (EX6200)

    • I now have SOLID coverage in the house and two bars on my iPhone at the pool equipment
    • So now I have very reliable coverage all through the house, although I had hoped with this product to be able to get wifi in the garden.
    • The coverage is superior to the one we replaced.
    • Gives me great coverage on the second story of my house.
    • It has great coverage through 7 walls and delivers 4 bars
    • Awesome coverage
    • I wanted wireless coverage outside and coverage was lacking further away from the either of the Apple Airport Extremes
    • Did I say OBVIOUS better coverage and speed?
    • Great coverage of my 3,000 square foot home with this equipment.
    • Exceptional coverage, the wifi speed tripled using a 5th generation dual band Apple router
    • The extender has been placed at the midpoint of the house in the living room, so that there will be good coverage everywhere
    • Has better coverage than my Almond range extender, and was easier to set up.
    • Great coverage and easy to use.
    • Using a R6300 as main wireless router and this EX6200 as the extender and the combination gives me OBVIOUS better coverage and speed then an Apple 2TB Time capsule as the main router with an Apple Airport Express as the extender
    • this was purchased to ensure good wifi coverage in our basement where we have our game/Home theater
    • Bought this extender to improve coverage in the basement of my townhouse
    • Lots of options here and did what I needed to do - replace my old wireless bridges and give my computer (work home here) exclusive access to the 5Ghz band and provide some better coverage in a bonus room (where it is only used after I'm done working).Second, "ok"
    • Since we added this we are getting very good coverage.
    • It gives me GREAT coverage for my entire home and yard.
    • You may have to play around with the placement at first for the most optimal coverage.
    • It's fast, and improved household coverage and eliminated gaps.
    • I have aluminum siding on the house which I believe limits any wifi signal to the outside, but the AC1200 is able to provide decent coverage outside
    • has no problem picking up signal and gives good coverage through my home which is a house trailer...setup was a breeze, the extender keeps my TV, ps3, tablet, media streaming player, 2 smart phones, my son's tablet and any visitor's phones connected to the internet while here
    • This unique booster provides better wireless coverage than any other device we reviewed
    • The radios on this device are incredibly powerful and provide great coverage to places that had zero or poor coverage before
    • Great coverage throughout the house and even get a strong signal outside on our deck
    • Although i mainly bought this to keep our movie/game room connected, it does have great coverage
    • 2500 sqare foot townhouse and needed to extend the range (a bit disappointed that the Nighthawk's range didn't cover the basement, even after moving it around to optimize coverage (extends well upstairs, but not in the basement)
    • Provides great coverage for the entire home.
    • We have had a great deal of frustration getting excellent coverage from one end of the house to the other
    • Seems to work well and allowed for better internet coverage in the house.
    • I tried the extender in two locations, both of which showed excellent coverage
    • It's super fast, got excellent WiFi coverage, exactly what i want at first place
    • easy as heck to set up, and within minutes I had excellent coverage
    • Great coverage
    • I find a location that gets a good signal at about the furthest point where I would be about to lose network coverage and put this device at that location.
    • Originally, I set this up the regular way and speeds did increase substantially on our 5g smartphones as well as on our Chromebooks
    • Is working as it should.
    • (I know what I'm doing) , and of course, it did work as it did the prior 3
    • Some of the reviews on this page seem to be on lesser products by netgear that don't work as
    • Unfortunately it didn't work as I expected it always needs to be restarted to work properly, but i give 3 stares for its coverage and easy to set up .
    • Sincerely recommend that when you see a NetGear product to ......run as fast as you can!
    • I elected to use the 2GHz band to communicate with the router as well as for routine internet usage while using the 5GHz band for streaming and online gaming
    • Normal 'net surfing appears to be just as rapid as over our existing WiFi
    • While it is true that many items are received at discounted rates or complimentary, my reviews are completely unbiased as well as honest and are my personal experiences and opinion of the product
    • Works as it is meant to.
    • Excellent extender and super easy to install, This is my third one in 5 years and this one is most powerful and handles my 2G and 5G networks well.
    • The extended network shows up as two new SSIDs (MyNetwork_EXT and MyNetwork5G_EXT (if your router supports 5GHz)).
    • Pro2 ROKU wireless TV Media Streaming devices3 Amazon Kindle (1 Fire, 1 Free 3G Wireless, 1 kindle mini)1 Samsung S51 Verizon Network Extender (a WIFI device that boosts the cell signal since I live at the edge of a dead
    • This one give me enough sigal to give me a 5g strong signal that reaches ro porch which is kind of far away from the router.
    • Pro2 ROKU wireless TV Media Streaming devices5 Amazon Kindle (2 Fire, 2 Free 3G Wireless, 1 kindle
    • I am now able to get a 5g, as well as a 2g signal from my bedroom with 4 to 5 bars, I would barely get 1 bar prior to purchasing this
    • The 2G is often barely satisfactory and the 5G is inconsistent and almost nonexistent.
    • I have Time Warner and was recently upgraded to a new Model (Arris DG) with supposedly fancy new 5G. Long story short, I was having trouble streaming Netflix in HD using 5g (lots of buffering and/or defaulting to Standard Def instead of HD), something that had never been an issue with my old router
    • The 2G is often barely satisfactory and the 5G is inconsistent and almost nonexistent.
    • The 6200 2G works fine
